Hello footbag friends!!!

Polish Footbag Association is glad to announce 7th IFPA Footbag Championships in Wroclaw (Poland).
We inviting you to a city that is over 1000 years old with charming atmosphere and beautiful places.
This year the event will be in a very nice and high standard sport ground.

here are informations:

Accomodation:

The Low cost accomodation will be provide by Student House
We have got 600places low standard.
30PLN/per night
Registration on event site.

Can i ask how much the accomodation will cost in Euros or Pounds? In another topic it was said that there would be a place to stay for 5 euro per night, is that still available?
And is there any arrangement for accomodation for the week before Euros, the Footbag workshops/camp thing?

Oh for non-Polish peoples information, the word 'Wroclaw' is actually pronounced 'Vrots-wahf'. I learnt that the embarassing way at work.

6 euro = 30 pln
1 euro = 4,5 pln (more or less)

I guess, the same hostel is available for pople who're attending workshops.

Polish pronaunciation is cool! I'm sure you're gonna love it!

all informations about costs and exact exchange rate you can check when the website will start.

There is no chance to get a place for 5 Euro and actually I've never heard
about it.

Im sure you will have a good time laughing at my pronounciation for the whole time that i am in Poland

Will most people be staying at the Hotel Gem, or the 'low standard' accomodation?
And how 'low' is low standard? Is it really bad? How much does it cost in Euros, per night and per person? I couldnt read the website funnily enough...

I have a question about competition, since this is the "European Championships" are non-European's allowed to compete?

I think my ancestors are from France or something, that counts in my books.

I mean.. I am not an aboriginal indian or anything so I obviously came from europe at some point!

Are most people staying at Hotel Gem or at the Student House? In rooms or in the gym? Either is pretty cheap (although the gym is cheapest), i was just wondering where most players are going to be. I was thinking of the student house in a room because its more comfortable!

Also, is there anymore info on the workshops, or is it just what is listed on the website? Who do we contact about this? Are the workshops going to be held at Hotel Gem aswell? Do we need to register?

So I know that polish players like sleeping in the gym - in the gym people sleep in their own sleeping bag, it isn't very comfortable (there is no comfort) but the atmosphere, meeting people, living with them are the best in the gym
I'm sure that small number of people will choose Hotel Gem
In the middle is room in student house (its comroftable compare to gym because you have your own bed)

So what about the workshops
Accomodation is in the student house (I think) but like You we dont have many info abotu this
Personally I'm interested in take part in those workshops so I will talk with people who are responsible for this and I can writ here more info

Hello

Yes we are still working under english versions.

Exchange.
mainly it's EU project for youth. so there are 4 countries Poland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic. they are official making Exchange. thats 40people. But we decided to make open doors for people who are intrested in some of workchops.
Footbag freestyle- provided by Jan Struz
Footbag Net - Andy Ronald
Footbag Golf - Jakob Wagner
Also there will be some artistic workshops like
Tshirts painting - Patris
Djing- dj sowa
juggling- Hubert Zulawski
Film- Provizorka

We cant guarantee enter for all. Becouse of care of EU project but we want to shere all what we can.

Accomodation, gym and student house is in same place. so I will sugest bed than floor.

All workshops are also in school.

Registration will be on Euros website. And we will announce how U can join to workshops.

wtf eurolines stoped going to poland or something? yesterday I could get tickets to go to Wroclaw by bus, and now there is'nt even Poland in the choices anymore!
any other companies doing Paris-Wroclaw??

you should check your local travelling office, mathieu!!

i checked eurolines, too. and from germany to poland its no problem to go. but i think, eurolines is not the cheapest and only way to go by bus. there are several other companies that send buses from all over europe to poland.
i will go with a different bus company to wroclaw. the times, they drive there, fit better in my timetable. so, watch out!! and don´t just have a look in the internet!!!

I would gladly look with a travel agency, but I'm in Gabon (Afrika) .. I have no other option but the internet, and there are no such thing as a travel agency down here!

Otherwise I've never been in Europe besides when I had to switch planes in Paris.

well i registered myself as staying at the Student House in the Gym, i hope lots of other players will be there! Is there any option to change sleeping spots if its like, REALLY uncomfortable? heheh

Is there any more info available on the Workshops? Ive read a bunch on the Euro champs site, but it doesnt say like, how to register and stuff. Who else is going to these workshops anyway? Can anyone attend?

i also registered mine at the student house. my friends did, too.

i´d like to have some more information about it.

how much beds are in one room? who will sleep with whom in a room? are there enough beds and is it really clear, that we all, that have registered, sleep there (cause "only 60 beds" isn´t that much. i guess, i read it somewhere)?

i´d also like to add, that my bus will arrive on thursday 09.15 at wroclaw, if there is no delay at the border or so. it will be pretty close for me to registrate in the time till 10 o´clock. is it possible to write an authorization or so and give it to my friend, who arrives much earlier, that he will registrate for me???
would be a nice gesture
