Hard to tell - I'd say it went counter clockwise too

I would check, but I don't have to go right now, and my family's not exactly in the financial situation to be wasting water right now.
edit: I went, and it didn't spin at all, just sunk down into the bowl.

i heard that was only a myth...that location affects direction of water into drains...or is it actually different just based on the toilet?

Water really spins to other directions on other sides of earth... because earth rotates.
One great mystery has been troubling me... Which direction does it spin exactly at equator?
I can't sleep if I don't solve this dilemma!

I've used toilets in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres and the water drained in the same direction.

mine goes counter clockwise , I think its because the gravity with the neutron deseptor and the atom feild makes it go in a non frictionated dillema

I think the best option is to fill a sink with water, then pull the plug.
My toilet doesn't drain, as such. When I flush, the new flow of water into the bowl pushes the waste out through the bottom and into the 's' bend.
So try the sink thing and you'll solve the problem.

Mine clearly flushes counter-clockwise, but I think the direction has more to do with the fact that the jets of water from below the rim of the seat are angled, and spray, in that direction.
