also bad is when you are reading threads on stuff you dont understand, have nothing to do with, completely foreign (the german language zone, for example) just to finish reading all the threads. needless to say, i know NO german.

I have made almost 5% of the entire forum's posts!!!!!!!!
<----- Look at my post count. My average post count is 3.75 per day since 2002!

I don't check or post as much now (which is still a ton!!), but I still try to read as much as I can (though I miss a TON because the stupid topics always mark themselves as read :( ) Oh, Ken -- edited posts aren't marked as unread after they've been edited.

It would be rad to see the stats! I have my money on Tom Mosher.

being at work, there is usually nothing to do (or rather plenty to do that I'm not doing) so I confess to being a compulsive modified user

The mouse is glued to my hand and the keyboard key's all over my lap. I can't do anything but sit here and check out modified.

People at work usually discuss what they read in the newspaper
or saw on the telly or the what the shortest way to the store is,
and i tell em, that Karim Daouk from Switzerland hit flurrycane
finally or that i'm very happy that Dan Fearey reads Dharma Bums
and Franny and Zooey :D !

So yeah, i check modified a lot- just to quote Sole form Anticon -
this is a good and a bad thing  .
