We did a show on Wroclaw Town Square yesterday, it was a bit cold, but still really fun :) The show was a part of a small festival for kids (1th of June is the Children Day). We had our music and did some shredding, juggling and doubles freestyle. We also made a small kicking contest with prizes (crappy footbags, but it's better then nothing).

My friend Goku dropped his bag into the sewer, and though that it was lost. He couldn't know that I'm an expert bag saver  We picked up the metal crate and while beeing held by legs I retrieved the bag which was floating in water. Another fragile life saved! :D

I hit Stepping Legover > Quantum Butterfly BSOS, it's a cool looking link, I would like to hit it as a drill. I was also close to flip Whirlwind a hundred times but didn't hit it :) We're going to Strzelce Opolskie this Saturday to shred with other fellow footbaggers from the South of Poland - it's going to be great :!:

Oh, and I'm most probably going to German Footbag Open! Yahoo! :D

Yo Daryl, my parents said they're OK with my trip to Germany, so I'll be there :)

I went do Strzelce Opolskie yesterday for players jam, and it was great! We shredded outside in nice weather and when it started to rain we just moved under some big umbrellas and shredded there :D It was really fun to meet all the shredders and play together, some big tricks were hit too. During that day I hit:

Nemesis
Montage
Gangsta Party
PS Whirling Swirl
Torquescrew
Food Processor BS

And some other stuff in runs that I don't remember  I had a pretty good day even though I slept only for about 2 hours the night before :P It was really cool and I can't wait to repeat that.

I rolled my ankle while playing and it hurts a bit. I hope it will get better soon - there's a competition in Leszno next weekend! And on Tuesday I'm going to Prague with my class. Maybe in free time I'll find Vasek and shred a bit with the Dictators crew :P

The bad thing is that I won't be prepared for the competition, but what the hell. Unprepared routines RuleZ :!:

Huge props, dude! Did you hit them for the first time? I heard about the other tricks from youb, but I don't remember those two.

Yes ptaku, those two were first timers :) It was so cool to hit them :D

I was on a three day trip to Prague this Tuesday and it was great! But the most fun thing was that I found cool footbag references in there! While travelling by metro I heard a familiar voice. The voice machine announced something like: "Privsti stanice, Pankrac", and it suddenly reminded me of the same voice saying it on Vecere video
:D You can check it, it's there on 00:34. But the more hardcore thing was what I found in one of the rooms of Hotel Kupa (where we were staying). We took one of the paintings of the wall, and turned it to the other side to reveal... written with big black letters:

European Footbag Championships 2001

8O I guess you can imagine how I felt :D That was almost impossible, but it happened :) I have a photo of that painting and as soon as I'll get it to my computer I'll post it. So cool :D

Tommorow I'm going to a tournament in Leszno, it's going to be great :D And next weekend - GFO

Tournament in Leszno was awesome! I think I did really good, I got 2nd in Open with 1 drop routine, 1st in Shred30 with 176,4 points, 2nd in Sick3 with Phoenix > Blurry Whirl > Mullet and 1st in BigOne with Nemesis :D

Man I'm so happy :D I shredded hard and had lots of fun. It was really cool to meet other players again and play together - freestyle jams are the best thing! And on Friday I take off to GFO :D I love this game :)

The level of Polish players is getting better really quickly. Some Intermediate players could easily compete in Open. It was nice to see their routines. There was a Beatbox show and great Afterparty in one of the clubs in Leszno. We watched the motorcycle racing Grand Prix and was happy to see that Polish racer was 2nd :D

I have a session tommorow. I guess I'll prepare to GFO...

Funny sesh :D We came to our playing spot but it was so dirty, that we decided to play somewhere else. We went to Wroclaw Town Square :) Just when we finished our warmup it started to rain...

:?

Shredder's got to be tough  We shredded in the rain watching other people running in panic and seeking shelter. Watching their faces as they spotted us was hilarous  We played for about 15 minutes like that, but then it got too slippery and we moved to an entrance to some building. It was dry there so we continued the shred :) In the accompaniament of thunders and tapping watter I hit two new tricks:

High Plains Drifter BS
Double Blender BS

I'm really happy about hitting them both sides :) I was kinda close to Whirling Gyro Whirl - that one looks cool (at least from my perspective  ). Tommorow we're going to shred with Wiktor, player from Warsaw (you can see him in Warszawskie Demonstracje vid, he's the guy that hits Montage). And after that we head out for GFO :) It's going to be awesome!

New fearless combo for today:

Janiwalker > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Pdx Blender

Wiktor had a camera with hit and we taped that combo, and also some other stuff, so maybe you'll see it someday  I tossed Frisbee some and shredded my legs off :) It was really nice to play outside. After our session we went to a small restaurant and ate some good food. Tommorow I'm going to GFO, man I'm so excited :D I remember hitting a combo with Blurry Whirl and Stepping Whirl BS. I also started a run with High Plains Drifter (I do it pretty uptime, but I guess it counts).

Damn, it's going to be awesome :D

drunken shred session with you was great fun! I think I have a new
favourite trick at the moment, and I really have to start learning (normal)
whirls now :)

Hope to meet you again at Euros, can't wait to visit Poland, home of the
PS Whirl! ;)

and I hope you hit that symp whirling ******** soon ;))

cheers,

Yeh Bjoern, GFO was a blast :D I don't know how I could shred at night back then :D But it was really cool! Your FS Reverse Whirl looked really nice - all aerial and stuff :D I tried Symp. Whirling Swirling set today and hit...

Croxton! :D

I hit it on the begginning of the session but it bounced off my hand and dropped  After about 50 tries I got it again, this time nice and controlled :D I'm really happy! We had a camera with us, so maybe you'll see a new vid including me and Olaf soon. Croxton was not cought, but there's some cool runs :) We only filmed for about an hour, so maybe it won't be top shred, but it's always nice to have yourself on tape

GFO was so cool! I'm extremely happy that I went there and met so many cool people. Not to mention the sick shred that went down :!: Beeing able to see Felix routine live was an amazing experience. Ilia Mitrofanov was busting like crazy too. I was really impressed with his style. The competition was really exhausting too. I started playing at about 12:00 in the morning, played two routines and shredded a lot, and then played finals at about 24:00  I'm really happy that my legs didn't fell of and I managed to do my routine with 4 drops. The Last Trick Curse worked of course :P

I realized that I've been playing everyday since last Wednesday, so tommorow it will be a week of daily shred 8O :D Cool.

Hi Szymon,
you are so hardcore :) How long did we play after the semifinals on saturday? Maybe 2 hours or longer... And then I asked you if you were in the finals 8O I was kinda shocked that you played that much and still had an routine to do :D But you did great! And it was really coll to shred with you and thanks for the trick tips.
Remember that?

I'm not REALLY that skinny, am I? 8O  Yeah it was a day full of shred, even at night we did some kicking with Bjoern :D If you have more photos Max it would be cool if you put them online! And good luck with your Osii :D Your DLO's look awesome and I'm shure that soon you'll be hitting Fogs all around the place :!:

Shredding streak continues! Today's session was really nice and relaxed. In the beggining I worked on Spinning and hit Spinning Clip > Gyro Clip (rpt) a lot mixed with other Spinning moves. I think I should work on incorporating more Spinning Osis and zooms, because they look awesome :D I did two new drills:

Barfly > Whirl (rpt)
Drifter > Torque (rpt) YEAH! :D

I wanted to hit the second one for such a long time and today I finally got it - cool! After drilling a bit I started working on my routine and I have about half of it prepared. I guess tommorow I'll finish it. I also tried a new sweet trick: Symp. Whirling Swirling Twirl (just rolls of the tongue, doesn't it? ). I was close a couple of times and I think that I'm able to hit it.

Today's session was not so good, I felt really shaky and out of energy, but I still got some good runs, and one new trick, that I'm really stoked about:

Alpine Matador :!: :D

My friend was trying Nuclear Ducking, and I though that I'll try it too. I came close few times, and then I got a nice, high set and hit it :D Man, that felt awesome! I also got a new link with Dimwalk > Pdx Whirl > Pdx Eggbeater. Eggbeaters are getting more solid and I can put them in runs now - such a great trick :)

I should work more on Blenders.

12th day of shredding :D A little update of what I've hit yesterday and today:

Blurry Drifter > Symple Swirl (styley combo of the day  )
Blurry Drifter > Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl
Symple Swirl BSOS (it took some work to get it :) )
Pdx Eggbeater and Spinning Pdx Eggbeater in one run

I think there was something more, but I don't remember. Today we shredded with dil, a player from Strzelce Opolskie. This guy has a really cool, flowy style :D I think, that if he shredded more often he would have awesome control and long runs.

Symple Swirls rule! At GFO I saw Ilia Mitrofanov doing them in his runs and fell in love :D This is such a cool trick!

I really should work more on Blenders.

13th day of shredding. Played for about 7 hours today :) 3 hours on shred session and another 4 hours on some footbag workshops made during some festival.

Highlights:

Toe Blur > Toe Blur
Blurriest > Blurriest
Symp. Atomic Swirling ss Symp. Mirage (is this trick new? or this set?)

I did some attempts at Frantic and hit Butterfly and Mirage out of it. This set is really cool and I would love to be able to throw it in strings. I imagine some nice tricks like Frantic Drifter or Frantic Double Down :D

Tommorow I'll work on Blenders. And my routine.

14th day... That's two weeks of shredding. I'm pretty exhausted after today's shred, but it was cool. I played with a guy from Warsaw and we hit some nice runs. I remember one started with Fury and with Blurry Whirl b2b, Blurriest and Spinning Pdx Whirl in it. I tried so hit something new from this Symp. Atomic Swirling set, and came a bit close to doing a Symp. Whirl from it. I think that Symp. Atomic Swirling Gyro Mirage is totally possible too. Maybe I could finish it with Stepping if I really tried :) All right, enough of dreaming I need to rest now, so I can work on Blenders tommorow.

Thanks a lot David, it's nice to get props from a footbag veteran like you :D

15th day, pretty laid back session, but still with some new stuff:

Blender x3
Mobius in a run with Blurry Whirl b2b and finished with Tomahawk

I finally worked on Blenders, and they're getting better. Frantic sometimes work and sometimes not :) I'm trying to incorporate more varied spinning combos into my runs. I hit an epic run with Muted Magellan, Muted Sidewalk BS, Pogo Legover, Pogo Pdx Mirage BS, Stepping Symple Legover and Pogo Butterfly b2b
