Socks or no socks?

Post by qlunch »

I was watching an old vid i had and realized that no one was wearing socks of the 8 er so people in it. It just got me wondering what people tended to do. I've tried both but tend to stick with socks myself.

Yeah, I use very thin socks. Usually black 'business' socks or thin ankle high ones.

its all about the ankle socks (adidas one for me).
no socks can get overly sweatly and gross.
long socks are just too hot and i think they kinda look funny with my navy blue lavers...

Socks are a MUST for me! I am a sweaty beast and I'd be stomping in tom-slush without the absorbant layer.

Derrick Ogden plays without socks and his lavers are the most vile disgusting "shoes" ever.
The insole is just this disgusting goey slop that he lands on. ewww

I also wear socks and prefer the ankle high ones.
But there's one thing I don't really get: why do they cost more than normal socks? I mean, there's less sock but more price!

They don't. Well, they don't if you shop at the right stores.

I bought 6 pairs of ankle socks at Winners two days ago. 8 dollars.

I'm wearing a pair right now. Commmmmmfy. :P

yeah dude its like Lingerie...the less fabric the more money

I have two pairs of lavers. On one the whole toe box/tounge part is cut off so my toes stick out. Its like sandles with sides. With those I do not wear socks.

With my normal pair of rods I do.

I have a pair or two of saucony running socks. They're half as thin as regular socks and are ankle length. They're also tight.

No socks gets too sweaty. Thin running socks give much better bag feel than cotton sweat socks. I wear wigwam c-t ped socks for shredding.

Damn it! I bought one, just one pair of 'em from a "cheap" store and paid 5 or 6 euros! Someone is shitting me.
Next time I'll go to a sport shop.

This describes myself and Andrew Grant perfectly, if I were Tom Mosher and Andrew was Derrick Ogden.
