Is the question - why are we here? As in what are the events that led to us being here? Or is it - do we have a reason for being here?

I "believe" in science and the pursuit of answers through objective study and logic - and thus "believe" that there is no purpose for us being here. The reason why we are here is due to the laws of physics. You could say it's random coincidence - but really that's a presumption - it depends on if there is one universe or a multiverse. Actually if there is only one universe - most likely everything is inevitable and could theoretically be predicted (theory of everything). If there is a multiverse than everything that could possibly happen will happen - so life it is inevitable that we're here anyway.

I don't know - it's a while since I've studied physics and everything is pretty complicated at that level.

well this is a subject that i like to talk about actuly. can you belive that. well lets move on, i am a total athest i havent always been one but after long educated thinking(notinspelling) i have come up with some very great threrums*?* ok im going to type alot an i hope i can make as much sence as i can an be clear.
