june.... (checks computer calender) 5th, 2005

it is so effin hot out you have no idea. i could only play for an hour or else id melt or something.

highlights:
fury bsos
janiwalker>whirlygig both sides
janiwalker>whirlygig BSOS
blurry drift>matador into a good string
janiwalker>ripped warrior
grifter both sides
royale on one side pretty easily
grifter + royale in same string
quantum illusion (ive never hit this, its not big but i havent)
reverse swirl>ps whirl bsos in a nice string
flip whirlwind to start a string
flurry into runs which doesnt happy much

thats probably it. not a great session, but my style was feeling good, so at least the shit i hit looked good. i really dig jani>whirlygig. idk how i bsosed it. mirken gave me this combo smoke>infin swirl>pdx. tor>rev swirl>ps whirl. i worked on bits of it and got smoke>infini swirl, rev swirl>ps, but the pdx. torque in the middle is just a bitch. im never really on balance after infin swirl, let alone pdx. torquing out of it. oh well, ill hit it sooner or later. matt suggested jani>whirlygig>mullet, and i got a few good attempts, but couldnt seal the mullet. ill hit that tommorow.

sometimes i hate when i list like, a million highlights. that looks stupid and obsessive. cuz really, you shouldnt have many highlights, right?

anyway, tonight i was talking to johnny and suddenly i wanted to shred. why? becuase love is in the air of course! (kidding, i was just bored at 10:00)

Session #2 of June 5th (ended on june 6th though) 10:30 - 12:30

Overall: tonight i just wanted to do some tricks i dont normally do, and work on weak parts of my game. stuff like down doubles and some flip stuff that has been annoying. it ended up being a pretty fearless session, but i started with a lot of stringy shuffle stuff. some blazing, some furious, some inspinning. good stuff prevailed.

im going to list a shitload of stuff, mainly for personal use because i actually look back on my blog and stuff. but a lot of this stuff probably is pretty dumb to post. oh, and you may think "how does he remember this?". well, i write it on the wall in my basement. its like, fung shui?

Highlights (all new by the way):

Combos:
whirling ss mirage>reactor (b/s)
scorpians tail>flurry
blurry drifter>blurry whirl>blurry whirl>ps whirl
blurry drifter>blurriest>blurry whirl>ps whirl
swirl>flapper>clipper>ripstein (into run w/ ps whirl bsos)
blurry whirl>janiwalker>ps whirl (b/s)
janiwalker>flurry (b/s)

Tricks:
flipside ripstein
inspinning mirage (b/s)

Drills:
paradon>blurry whirl>dlo (repeat)
barfly>stepping ss whirl (repeat)
barfly>scorpians tail (repeat)

bsos tricks/lines:
blurrier and blurriest bsos (same string)
blurriest>blurriest, blurry whirl>blurry whirl, ps whirl>ps whirl, janiwalker bsos (all same string : 8 5's)
bedwetter bsos, blurry whirl, and spinning pdx. blender (all same string)

ok so i know that was stupidly long, but all that stuff was highlights. this was probably my best session in a while. plus i had that stuff this afternoon. go figure. i love playing a lot in the summer. sucks i cant go to east coasts or worlds.

tommorow ill probably play some volleyball with my friends, + some shred. and if anyone actually takes the time to read all this stuff i post, thanks, that means alot.

Nice stuff. I think a good challenge for you would be jani-flurry-paradon repeat.

You just got me all self-conscious about how rambling and long my posts are. I normally take like 3 paragraphs to talk about how I hit ducking clipper to spinning clipper or something like that.

If we all had highlights like you every session, everyone would be tripless. Never censor or shorten your posts. Post ALL the cool stuff that happens in your life involving footbag, and anything else cool you want to share.

Amazing stuff. I can never believe what I see in here...

I hope you enjoy the new Vegas video, I think you will. It's got me all stoked on how well I'm doing, and Ben and the club... but I look at you and its like "man, I can't hit that" every time. You're a sick piece of work my friend. Stay healthy, and work hard.

Peace,

hi.

so today i played from like, 5-7:30. it was a long time. sucks cuz i dont feel like i got much done. its basically just a blur of tiredness and looking at the sun. oh well. here are things i remember.

10 toe blurs
sumo>smog>pixie paradon

lol yea thats it. idk, i didnt write shit down, and most of the highlights were lines, not tricks or combos. i kinda just messed around. im sure i got something done though.

tonight i went to taco bell and while i was waiting for my stuff i just started juggling. 3 balls in hand btw. the lady behind the counter really liked it. she didnt like ask about it, but she was clapping and stuff. in some odd way i think i made her minimum wage a bit better, im not sure. sometimes i think id like to be like peter irish and do juggling/footbag shows, but all im really good at is footbag, 3 ball is just like, really basic tricks. and i dont have that showmanship he does. like when he drops or messes up, its not bad cuz he laughs along with it and stuff. im too serious for that stuff.

so what else did i do today. i woke up at like 9:30 (its summer), went back to bed till 11:30. then i went to band cuz im a section leader and i had to sort music and shit. so i did that, and then played volleyball. ive been playing a lot latley with my friends, but today just sucked. first off i was off, but kids im not like, friends with were just being stupid and were like "sit down". i am really not a tempermental fighter kind of kid, but i seriously would of fought any kid who confonted me. i dont like being so negative, so i just left. i went home and shook off the sand and put on some shred shorts. watched a bit of tv, and then played. after that i are dinner and chilled. then i went out driving with my dad so i can get my frikken licesnce. i blow at parallel parking. ugh.

i have this mini abshire that sucks. i broke it in fine but its just super rolly and stuff. id say im uncontrolled and sloppy, but every other bag gets the job done, so idk. i think i might send it to him. if for some reason abshire is reading this, pm me. maybe ill just ask him to put massive amounts of weight in it or something.

so im pretty bored now during my days cuz its summer, and i only work like 3 days a week. besides shred im a pretty boring dude. i have some friends, but we all just get together and be bored together. thats not exactly fun.

whatever. comment if you feel like it.

You may think your life sucks, but hey, I`m jealous:

1. You hit 10 toe blurs.
2. You went to Taco Bell.

But on the flipside, I`m really good at parallel parking, so I guess the grass is always greener right?

Hit my challenge man.

Damn, he already hit mine. Wow, 10 toe blurs in less than 24 hours, I should have expected that much and had a double session today, but I had a really hectic day. You win the race, but I'll hit it soon, and maybe have a higher number for you to try.

Meanwhile, quantum whirl, plasma, quantum symp mirage, and quantum torque are all fun quantum tricks...try messing with those now that you have displayed your mastery.

Peace man,
Bum

Definite props! Hey we have stuff in common. I STILL don't have my license, even though I could've gotten it 2 1/2 years ago. But I should be getting it this month, so I'm uber-excited. I've actually never parallel parked, because that's not on my driving test, even though all of downtown is parallel parking. I kind of feel like I need to learn it, but I will eventually. I still can't park regularly! Ha. And you're in band? I didn't know that - what do you play? I was section leader (marching band) my senior year and it totally sucked because I marched the season with my torn ACL. Totally not cool. Oh well. Later! Props again on the toe blur record and the other string.

hey. i had to go to pittsburgh this weekend for my cousins graduation. missed east coasts. scouted out a fitness room and kicked for an hour. nothing crazy, i mostly did strings. i was sweaty as hell in the elevator. weird looks = 5

yesterday in some hotel in pittsburgh highlights:

one side: janiwalker>blurry drifter>blurry whirl>ps whirl>mobius
other side: janiwalker>blurry drifter>blurry whirl>ps whirl
reactor bsos in a really nice string
janiwalker>sunilwalker>ripwalk>string (first time ever)
fairy ss mirage midstring? what?
food processor>ps whirl (both sides)

today:

janiwalker>stepping ss whirl>pdx. blender (both sides)
mobius>blurry whirl>ps whirl
blurry whirl>fog>pixie whirl>blurry whirl>blurry whirl>ps whirl>ps whirl
sucky strings, ugly style

i dont really have much more then that. whatever.

EDIT: highlights from today added
