I think it's fair for someone who's hit gyro alpine locomotion to say that gyro whirlygig isn't massive @______@
I remember when Bigwalk was massive.

I'm pretty sure Ales has hit blurry mofly - there's definitly footage somewhere of him hitting a completely clean pdx mofly.

Also Justin Dale, Ricky Moran, Ken Somolinos (I think).

I'm not sure what players Allan respects and what players he doesn't but I definitly respect those 4 players...

edit: I've hit Owheely VII a few times - that's pretty massive. Actually I think all the owheely's are :P

- mark VII is delta sailing ss blur. toe>same in>op out>same in>symp op in>op toe. - 6 adds no x dex toe>toe.

enhancement wrote:There better be names for these
Pixie Miraging Symposium Miraging Legover
Surging Reaper
And is this one paradox?
Double Spinning Blender
Name?
Spinning Ducking PS DLO
And what is peglegbeater?
Why do we need these names? Pixie Miraging Symposium Miraging Legover can be named Gamma Pixie Miraging DLO or Pixie Miraging Nova.

I don't think Surging Reaper needs name. It's just clear simple and short.
Same with Double Spinning Blender and Spinning Ducking PS DLO (You can call it Spinning Ducking Paradox Nova). Everything is so simple.

Lawnmoir isn't that massive. Same w/ blurry voodoo.

- serval (surfing ss symposium twirl)
- fs barroquescrew
- reverse big apple
- symp quantum blender
- hellraiser

Justin Dale hit both blurry mofly AND shooting ducking whirl at Worlds 04. Both quite clean.

Not Double Spinning Blender - Spinning Double Blender! You know, you spin then do a Double Blender? Of course it is pdx, otherwise I would have stated that the spin was gyro ;)

And don't tell me it hasn't been hit yet, because if Big Add was attempting Spinning Ducking Double Blender then it is highly assumable that he has hit it without the duck. If not, I'll see if I can hit it for ShrEdmonton :P If not that then Spinning Whirr - that may be more attainable.

You know what happens when you assume right?

Seriously, that is real specious reasoning. People try ridiculous moves all the time. I could go outside now and try nemesis twirl; it doesn`t mean that I`ve hit nemesis swirl, or even nemesis.

Yeah, seriously. I can almost imagine Chad's laugh/reaction perfectly if I were to ask him to try spinning ducking double blender.

Yeah, seriously . No need for mockery, I really don't appreciate it. Yeah, seriously.

Kevin witnessed Chad attempting the trick at Worlds (and coming close) so it was reasonable to assume.

Skimmed this discussion, and I have a thousand scattered thoughts.

1. Sonic mobius is on the list. Sonic mobius has not been hit, to my knowledge. Sonic mobius would involve 3 spins. Spinning mobius has been hit, and sonic torque has been hit, but not sonic mobius.

2. I agree with Allan that blurry mofly is a move you can`t really claim unless it is on video. Wovoka, besides being a crap name, shouldn`t be on any lists. Shawn Betts list is full of garbage like this, moves that haven`t been hit. If it hasn`t been hit, it shouldn`t be named. Wovoka should be taken off this list... its a meaningless list unless everything has been hit.

3. I`ve never hit blurry mofly. And no offense at all to Justin Dale or Ricky, but blurry mofly is a move I`d need to see clean on video to give credit. That trick demands an excellent step set, and even players with exceptionally clean step sets sometimes slur on big tricks.

4. I wouldn`t say reverse montage is massive...I`d even go as far as saying that montage isn`t massive anymore. Collossus is definitely bigger than montage.

5. Symposium frantic double down is also a trick that requires video verification. Even from a member of BAP, I`d only credit it after seeing video. While I look forward to shredding with Shane in the near future, I can`t give him the benefit of the doubt on a trick which is so easy to the. I look forward to being proven wrong, as I was when James Risden first got a camera. But until then, if you`re going to claim it, get it on video first. I have only seen one person hit symposium frantic, and frankly it looks like it takes so much energy, that getting a clean dod off it seems... exceedingly difficult.

6. This business of "assuming" somebody has hit a trick needs to stop. I remember when Honza had to post on modified to stop all the rampant Vasek rumors, born of people "assuming" he had hit all sorts of stuff because he had come close on video. Like, there was a vid where he was trying full archnemesis, and from there people were sure that he had hit stuff like fs alpine janiwalker. Byrin, I don`t doubt you saw Chad trying whatever. True story: I saw Chad trying blurry double blender at worlds .... 99. By your logic, this means he MUST have hit pdx double blender years ago, but he hasn`t. I don`t think anybody has.

7. Grek: If you are claiming to have hit gyro siberian express, I really hope you have hit it more cleanly than that video released last year. That surging set was completely pulled, and the motion was thin (yes, it is possible to "the" motion). While this isn`t one of those moves where I`d require video verification to believe somebody had hit it (for example, if Felix claimed it I`d probably believe it), but based on that last video, I`d need to see video of it if you were to claim it.

Man, this post came off sounding kinda negative... not my intention. It just irks me how much disinformation gets disseminated on the internet sometimes. That`s why Eli`s massive tricks page is so great: video doesn`t lie. And in some cases, if silliness isn`t nipped in the bud, you blink your eyes, and next thing you know people are calling tricks "collage" and "wovoka" when they weren`t the first to hit them, and in some cases the moves haven`t been hit.

Yeah I suppose your right. If you want to see a clean symposium frantic legover, or downtime sort of, ask nick, or phil, they have my video of it  And yeah I will correct that sonic mobius lol my bad
