Such a friggin' long day of shred at Blue's Fest. Kicked with Jon a lot, Tim a lot, Reile for like a minute, and Zeke...too busy hackin'! Whatever, it's all good.

Davidson came late. I hit Scorpion's Tail BSOS while in a circle with him but he wasn't watching. Whatever, he gave Reid and I our fair share of props.

My favorite line of the day came from this drunk dude who was watching Davidson go off on a run: "Whooa, are you friends with Jesus?!"

Edit: What's this?! Reid has another vote?!! Arghhh!!! (fists flailing angrily towards the heavens)

Wow, that shot is disturbing...especially since there was apparently no bag on my sole at the time.

Not only does "Powerhouse" Reid have superhuman strength and shred stamina, he can willingly transport parts of his body briefly to another dimension so they do not to get in the way of his dex's, or in this case, ducks. It happens so fast that we cannot see it with the bare human eye. But thanks to today's advanced technology, we can all marvel at his superhuman abilities.

Sesh with reid in deerfield today. Lets see...

Nothing big I guess. Torque bsos a couple times and also some reverse swirls on both sides. All pretty new stuff for me.

Then I broke Reid's longstanding consecutive kicks record at Moosejaw. Remember Reid, 1 courtesy year before any of us break it again. You had two years with your name up there, and now I want my name on that little sign for a while :)

Sessioned it with eric today. Just a short schooling session for the both of us. I worked spins reverse swirls and stepsets. Eric schooled reverse swirls spins and barflys.

This will be my last post for a while. I will be away for several months. Yesterday and hit some neck stalls to blind crossbody rakes. I was quite proud of myself. Even though I will not be posting, make no mistake, I will be schooling hard. I will be back stronger, faster, better than ever before. I will be in San Fransisco in mid aug. I hope to be able to get in touch with the people there and plan a session or two. Until then keep on kicking, FTB and CIC and the rest. [/i]

:( Booo, Reid is leaving. Now the FTB has been reduced to me, the always-too-busy-to-kick Michael Matson, and of course...Scott Hollander :?

Well, that's life I suppose. Reid and I had a going away session today. Reid hit mullet for the first time which was really sweet. Then I decided to try and hit it for the first time also. After several close attempts on both sides I finally landed it. As Reid was about to give me a hand slap I said, "wait, now I'll hit it on the other side first try" and somehow I actually did :D

Anyways, by the end of the day Reid also hit mullet for the first time on both sides, and he hit blurry ps whirl for the first time...and oh yeah, Reid also landed spinning ducking whirling x-body rake on his first attempt :!:

Good sesh. Good friend. Good evening spent at the Improvolympic. Good luck at camp. Good night!

Well I'm back! Eric, Mike, Kevin and I had a session last night. kevins getting back into it since coming back from Germany. Matson still continues to impress me, and Eric is busting some insane stuff that I'll let him tell you about. My highlights. Three spinning paradox whirl in a row, toe barroque in the middle of a run, and some good runs from what i can remember. It's good to be back, just to leave again to cali in a week, and then to school, but I hope that in the short time I have back home I can get together with the CiC (hint hint nudge nudge gesture gesture).

Funny, we were thinking the same thing

Most likely Sunday. If you guys dont want to drive all the way over there and mess around looking for parking, maybe you can hook up with a couple people on the northside, drive to a CTA trainstation and take it to the shred spot. Let me know what ya think.
