The combo is fun and relatively easy, but it didn`t help me understand what he was talking about.
Ya, he's a philosophy major and it's taken me a year to understand most of the stuff he says, but every now and then I have no idea what he is talking about.

Good attitude and good times return

Post by C-Fan »

Yeah... in any case, it gave me an idea for a sick3 which I hit yesterday, so understanding or not, something good came of it. :)

Yesterday basketball practice was cancelled, so I had the rare opportunity to play on a Thursday afternoon. I got home around 6, so I set out intending to have a really light session. It was kinda strange... yesterday`s session was in some ways the opposite of the session before that. The last session I wrote about, I hit a bunch of good stuff, but I felt disatisfied throughout. So I had a good session, but it didn`t feel like a good session. Yesterday`s session was sort of the opposite: I didn`t hit that much notable stuff, but I felt real positive and good throughout the session. It`s like God messed up and matched the wrong reaction to the wrong session or something.

I warmed up the usual way, and really had no concrete goals as I went into the session. The only restriction I put on myself was to avoid doing frantic, but otherwise I was free to do whatever I wanted. I like the freedom of having no pressure to hit anything. In very short order, I managed to hit my first notable combo of the day: pixie butterfly-torque-pdx mirage repeat. Like I said, nothing real hard, but for some reason i was real happy hitting that combo. I did lots of casual dexless, and I think I hit on the best way for me to warm up to dexless play: do a few dexless, bail to BOPs if I have to, then continue the string with some more dexless. I think I used to put too much pressure on myself to only go dexless from the start, and consequently never warmed up enough or got my confidence high enough. Yesterday though, I warmed up by doing like 3 dexless, pdx mirage, butterfly, 4 more dexless, etc.

Like I said, I really had no goals for the session, so I decided to skool some concepts so that I could hit some goals in my next session. I vaguely thought that eventually I`d like to hit pdx drifter-gyro clipper repeat, but figured that`d be a goal for another day. But I thought now would be a good time to practice the components of the combo, so I hit paradox drifter to gyro clipper on my first try, and the gyro clipper was so solid I went into paradox drifter... spun well from there and... the bag juuuust rolled off my clipper. I was more surprised than disappointed, and sure enough, managed to hit that combo within my next couple tries. That`s a pretty stylish combo, if I do say so myself, and it was made better by the fact that I hit it without trying too hard. I think that`s a natural by-product of me working so much on my spins though.

At this point in the session, I already felt ahead of the game. I had intended only to put some adds on the lavers, but I`d somehow also managed to hit a couple of nice, bothsided repeat combos too. On a whim, I decided to try stepping ss swirl on my flip side. Before trying it though, I decided I should hit it on my strong side first so I would remember how it felt. I hit it strong side first try, and during my sealing combo, I tried it on my flip as a total whim... and footed it! 8O That really surprised me, but I just grinned because I knew it`d only be a matter of minutes before I bsosed it. A couple tries later I started a string by sealing my flip for the first time, and successfully bsosed it. Ra boogie! 8)

Having hit stepping ss swirl bsos, I got to thinking: I really should be able to hit swifter. So I messed around with it a bit, and came surprisingly close. That trick really works your abs I have to say. After figuring out the right balance between muting the step and actually thinking `drifter,` I came close a few times, and started footing it. "Jim Penske can hit flurry out of this trick?" :? That`s just wrong. Finally, I managed to pop one up, and sealed it with a 20 contact string. I can`t believe that Eli can hit pdx swifter... that really boggles my mind, especially now that I can hit regular swifter. In Mosher`s honor I gave a few attempts at flipside swifter, and it looked closer than I`d have thought, but still no cigar. I hit another swifter, and this time seal it with a more legit 20 trick run that includes flurry, bedwetter, paradox torque, and blurry whirl. I figure that I should be able to hit it midstring, so I break my promise and try for Ewalk to swifter. I hit Ewalk first try and with no pain, but I bail on the combo, but I do manage to hit swifter midstring in the same run.

I`m aware I`m working a new trick a lot, and just on one side, so i take a break by going for normal runs for a while. I was really really happy with how I was mixing up dexless in my runs. Stuff like 4 dexless ending in gyro clipper to pdlo-pixie butterfly-4 more dexless, etc. I also hit this bothsided repeat combo: park-blur-hippy atom-repeat to start a string, and in the sealing combo had spinning clipper-gyro clipper repeat. Also hit some cute things like whirl to down double bsos, and flip pixie same swirl for the first time.

I wanted to close the session out by hitting a big combo with swifter midstring, and spent a good chunk of time going for flurry-dark-swifter. I can`t tell you how many times that rolled off my swirl foot. Never really got frustrated though, just jumped up and down a lot when it was close. I mixed up attempts for that with regular strings, which was a happy balance. I finally managed to hit one where the swifter came up legitly, and I sealed it with a hand-catch. Because it was late, and my first day hitting swifter, I decided that was good enough for the day, and headed in.

I have to say it felt particularly good having a fun session, in light of the less satisfying session right before. I kinda saw it as maybe my reward for not losing my mental game even during a difficult session the time before. I wish I could bottle the positive attitude I had yesterday, because it just makes footbag so much more fun. But my work on my mental discipline is sort of accomplishing that goal... I really feel my `bad` sessions are much rarer these days than they used to, and even a `bad` session these days is still pretty good. Lots of rewards to be had for staying positive. :)

Aaaanyway. I also hit muted pixie same swirl for the first time, and came agonizingly close to it on my flipside several times. That`s totally a Felix trick.

D`oh! Guess I was unclear. By pixie same side swirl, I meant one foot does the pixie, then the other foot does the swirl. The muted part means I don`t plant after the first pixie. I`ve hit pixie swirl (and pixie reverse swirl), but not both sides.

Edit: I noticed you quoted an old entry of mine. I`m happy to say that the flip side I was "agonizingly close to" was one of the tricks I hit in yesterday`s session.

Ohhh, okay. I get what you're saying. I thought by 'muted,' you meant the same foot does the whole trick without planting.

I should call the album: "hit and miss"

Post by C-Fan »

Whoa, over 10,000 views! 8O Second blog to reach that marker, after Mosher`s. That`s the cool thing about the blogs, the different styles. I should try writing my blog entries in other people`s styles. I bet I could write Dave Clavens` blog and people wouldn`t notice the difference (post a bunch of ridiculously hard combos, sound disappointed with your game :P ). Lon`s blog would be real easy (some hard combos, update about knee, footbag golf highlight, work). Mosher`s would be a little harder, but if I listened to some Emo music, I could probably pull it off. I tried writing Abshire`s blog for a while, but had to give that up when I got him to sponsor TSG. Ted`s blog has a cool style to it too.

Anyway, I`ve been playing a ton of footbag lately, and consequently have a lot to write. At work I have a calendar on my desk, which I use to write down an assortment of notes. Dentist appointments, days with school schedule changes, and tournament dates are jotted scatteringly about it, as are the letters "fb" on every day that I play footbag. Using this system, I was able to determine that I played footbag at least once a week for over a year in Japan, until I injured my right foot last April. It`s a handy way to keep track of how often I play. Since May 25th, I have played 13 times. So in 18 days I played on 13 days. That`s notable because I was forced to take off one weekend to spend with my Vice Principal. My body feels fine so far, but I want to be careful not to overdo it.

Talked to Kim the other night about who was going to Worlds. Amazingly, I`m still not sure if I`m going to go or not. I just don`t feel the pull that strong this year, though I do have a few reasons to go. Hopefully I can reach a decision in the next couple days.

Friday after work I had to proctor a test, so I got home later than Thursday. I think that a big part of keeping a good mental game for footbag lies in choosing what situations you put yourself into. Yeah, if you are playing in less-than-ideal situations, your mental game can help bail you out, but why be in said situation in the first place? I guess what I`m getting at is that I didn`t approach Friday`s situation correctly.

I should have looked at the logistics of the session and adjusted my goals to the situation, but I didn`t. The logistics: It`s 6:30 pm, I have maybe 30 minutes of good light left, then maybe 15 minutes of quickly fading twilight. Taking that into account, I should have aimed for a super-light session with NO goals whatsoever. Instead, for some idiotic reason, I decided I should try to break my unique tripless record. *slaps forehead, in retrospect.* Seriously, what was I thinking? That kind of goal is for a long session with good light. If I had been aware of my environment, I would have realized that the sun would be down by the time I was warmed up. Lesson to be learned there.

What ensued was an extremely frustrating session. I was diligent enough to follow my warm-up regime, and decided to add a new element to it: warm up with as long a guiltless string as possible. Not hard guiltless, just guiltless. I didn`t count my first string, but it was over 60. I counted my next attempt and it was 46. Mostly consisting of butterfly, pdx mirage, pdx illusions on both sides. I also had ducking clipper, osis, spinning clipper, and symposium mirage bsos in there a few times. Its definitely good stamina training, hopefully it will help me out in future routines and Rippin` Runs.

By the time I was warmed up, the light was already fading. I had never counted my unique tripless record before, but I figured I should be able to get around 20 or so. Unfortunately, the best I could manage was 16. Later, when i took a shower and went over the session in my head, I realized that even though I could do better, I still did set a new record for myself, so I should at least take comfort in that. The link that kept screwing me up was flip blur to flip pixie butterfly. I`m working on it. Anyway, when the sun was completely down, I realized I wasn`t going to beat 16 that day, but I wanted to end the session on a positive note. I figured that`d be hard since the sun was down, but I stuck it out another 10 minutes and redeemed myself with a 24 contact string, as well as a 9 contact dexless string. The dexless one I was especially happy with, since a couple months ago I wouldn`t have even tried to spin in the dark, whereas now my confidence was good enough to hit gyro clippers and the like. So I ended my session on a decent note, but I was still aware it was a bad session. I resolve to break my tripless record on another day.

Saturday shred

Post by C-Fan »

One reason I was so insistent on sneaking in a shred on Friday evening, was the fact that I had no other plans. Fortunately for me, this meant I got a lot of sleep, which boded well for a redemption session on Saturday.

It rained all of Saturday, but luckily Shin-chan had reserved our gym space ahead of time. There were 7 players at Saturday`s session, all of us in lavers. We had to take 2 cars! How great is that?

Once at the gym, I couldn`t get my shred gear on fast enough. Like, the second the doors were open, I was already doing my warm-up routine. My warm-up routine has evolved a lot lately. It used to consist of just 100 kicks, followed by 50 alternating toe stalls. That later evolved into 100 kicks and 100 stalls, and then slowly to 100 kicks, 50 or so toe stalls, and 50 or so tiltless toe moves. Now, my warm up consists of 100 kicks, followed by 30 toe stalls, followed by about 70 tiltless toe drills. Usually 10 mirages on one side, pixie, 10 mirages, pixie, then consecutive legovers for a while. Also been doing toe set pick ups, which are funny and fun. And over the last week, I also have added to my warm-up going for long, easy guiltless strings. On Saturday I had a 56 contact guiltless (butterfly, pdx mirage, pdx illusion, osis, symp mirage, ducking clipper, spinning clipper all bsos), followed by a 45 string (pretty much same stuff bsos). I think that my tiltless and guiltless drills will improve my stamina, force me to warm up more slowly (and thoroughly), and strengthen my left toe.

I was already done with my tiltless before the other players were done stretching, I was that eager to play. :)

We split into 2 circles, and I thought how cool it was that we had 7 pairs of lavers and 2 circles at a session. That bodes well for the future. My circle included Gochin, Shunsuke, myself, and a new player called Yusuke (not the Tokyo USK). Gochin played as well as I`ve seen him, hitting stuff like schmoe and fear, dlos and some tiltless runs. Towards the end of the session I also witnessed him hit his first triple dex ever, smog. Yeah boy! It was good seeing Shunsuke in Lavers, since it helped his consistency. Yusuke has only been playing a few months, but his legovers looked solid. Going into the session, he`d only hit 2 in a row. I was surprised by this, gave him some tips on his weak legover, and told him he should be able to hit 5 or 6 in a row. It was satisfying seeing him increase his record during the session to 3... then 4... then 5! Nice work!

I started off my session with long runs, mixing in the dexless stuff. Then I slowly started doing frantic stuff, and was real happy to find I was real "on" with it. By concentrating on keeping my mirage leg straight throughout, I think I eliminated the motion which was hurting my hip flexor before. I don`t really think of frantic as " pixie quantum," so much as "pixie set weak pixie set." You figure that out... but it helps me. I managed to hit my first frenzy ever, and the people in the crew laughed at me since I was yelling in excitement throughout my sealing combo. Frenzy was a big deal for me, because I think it signifies that my set is getting stronger. Sort of like jani vs fury... hitting pdx mirage off of a set is a lot harder than hitting butterflies out of it, so it means my set is more legit. On a similarly encouraging note, I also hit my first stepping sets out of frantic ss butterfly, which would indicate that my set has improved. I hit frantic ss butterfly-blur-pixie butterfly-blur-smear-legbeater-some other stuff. I had a frantic set come up to my shoulder once, and I was so shocked I didn`t do anything. 8O :x Still, encouraging.

After about an hour, we used a form of "rock, paper, scissors" to create new circles, which meant I got to play with Shinchan and Shunsuke. Shinchan was playing real well all day I thought. Longer strings, more hard tricks. He was trying for blurry drifter, so I gave him the tip of thinking of it as real tight, like a small blur where the hips really twist. I showed him blurry drifter both sides, and when I hit it on my strong side, I was real surprised how good a clipper it ended on. Inspired by this, I hit blurry drifter to blur for my first time. More excitingly though, Shinchan hit and sealed blurry drifter for his first time ever! It looked real pretty. I also gave him some tips on smoothing out pixie, and he got smear to pixie butterfly real nicely.

In the circle with Shinchan, I started to really feel confident with my frantic. I hit ewalk-blurry whirl-ps whirl-ps whirl, which got me real pumped up, and a little bit later hit ewalk to blurry torque. I stepped out of frantic ss bfly for the second time, hitting blurriest out of it. Then I hit ewalk to blurriest, in a lame attempt to seem somewhat bothsided. Other tricks I hit out of frantic ss butterfly: ripwalk, reverse swirl (I really like this combo... its like hectic triple dex move, then real cute, small trick right after it), and tomahawk. Had a run with ewalk and frantic ss butterfly, and later in the run torque bsos.

In the last 40 minutes or so of the session, Shinchan mounted a camera, so people took turns in front of the camera trying to hit stuff. So it was like, 1 shred circle you could enter or leave whenever, a couple people watching/waiting the camera shred, and one person shredding. I spent most of this time in circles, cause it seemed more social. OK, I admit it: I spent more time in circles cause I knew the footage couldn`t make the internet. I still hopped in front of the camera and hit ewalk to blurry drifter though. :P Also had a run start with symp whirling pdx mirage, and in the same string EWalk.

At some point I gave Enta (wrote about him last time, but hardly played with him or Ayako due to circle structure) some pointers on dlos, and demonstrated my teaching point by doing consecutive dlos. I felt real good doing them, so after hitting like 6, I decided to keep going. I ended up hitting 21 or 23... kinda annoying that I don`t remember which. Guess the best solution is to break 23, so I don`t have to wonder.

We played to some electronic music, some Japanese ska music, and a touch of Fatboy at the very end. As we left the gym, I felt real satisfied. I just love those sessions where EVERYBODY hits and feels good. Yeah, its nice that I had a good session, but its even better that there was a good vibe and everybody came away with highlights. I was also particularly happy that my hip flexor didn`t bother me. I was happy with my new frantic combos, but the fact that I figured out how to do frantic without pain... that was the big deal for me. I went home with that good-tired feeling, where every breath feels a bit deeper, and also a bit sweeter. :)

Sunday shred, back in the Kitakami parking lot.

Post by C-Fan »

Sunday I decided to go for a light shred in my parking lot. I hadn`t slept much, and my body was tired, so I figured I`d just go for easy stuff. I started off pretty well in that vein, hitting some cute combos like dod-whirl-dlo repeat. I also hit flipside swirl for the first time. Non-symple, non-reverse, non-easy. My guiltless warm-up was real short (only 36), but I figured that was excusable given my tired state.

My frantic set was feeling real good on Saturday, so I decided I would skool flip pixie triples on Sunday, with the eventual goal of hitting a frantic quad sometime in the future. I hit flip pixie ss dlo for maybe my 2nd or 3rd time ever, and I also came real reeaaal close to flip parkwalk swirl. I did manage to hit flip pixie ss egg for the first time, and it felt solid.

The session kinda went downhill from there, as I decided to skool some frantic sets, and found that they had deteriorated horribly from the day before. I think I was thinking too hard, and my body was too tired, so I should have stopped, but I didn`t. Still, I managed to hit and seal my second Frenzy ever. EWalk and Frantic ss butterflies a bunch, but not nearly as effortless as the day before. Despite my problems with frantic that day, I still was aware that the set has potential for me. I reminded myself how when I used to skool furious set, my best days I could hit basic triples, and my worst days I couldn`t even hit butterfly out of the set. So the fact that I was still hitting frenzy and combos with Ewalk on a `bad` frantic day, that was a good sign.

I moved past the frustrating frantic, and skooled some dexless. I managed ducking clipper to planting mobius (set low, spin hard), and had some fun just going dexless. The highlight was starting a string with 9 dexless, then hitting 7 dexless a little bit later in the same string.

During this session my Miki-bag busted a stitch and died. 32 panel bags are so frustratingly high maintenance. Thats part of the reason why I haven`t bought one since like 1999. I love playing with a good, broken in 32, but actually breaking one in... makes me go insane! :x

I go inside to shower, busted Miki bag in hand. The deterioration of my frantic has me a bit concerned, but I stay upbeat, since I still managed to hit frenzy and some other stuff out of it.

Closest freestyler with Lavers: 50 minute train ride (Morioka)
Closest guiltless freestyler: 3 hour Bullet train ride (Tokyo, $250 RT)
Closest English-speaking shredder: 6 hours by Bullet train (Kyoto).
Number of times a year I can talk footbag in English: maybe 4 times or so.

I live in rural Japan. I don`t have the luxury of talking about footbag in English with anybody, so it all overflows into my fanzine  . I`m not that talkative in Japanese, but in English I`d say I`m more social than not. :)

Seriously though, don`t blame me: I learned footbag from Josh Penney and NYFA!

Monday shred

Post by C-Fan »

Work is slow this week, because it`s exams period for the students. That meant that I spent most of yesterday learning random stuff on wikipedia.org, and writing about footbag in my journal and zine. When the clock hands finally completed their agonizing lurch towards check-out time, my feet were already practicing frantic sets as I ran awkwardly (frantically? :P ) to my car.

Unlike Sunday, I was decently rested, and unlike Friday, I had plenty of time to warm up. I did my usual warm up, but dropped a couple times during my tiltless drills. I still put the requisite number of adds on the lavers though, so I didn`t mind. My guiltless string warmups went very nicely; a 55 string followed by a 62 string. Usual stuff bsos, lots of infinities, some spins... actually did whirl bsos in the 62 string. Only real rule is no fours and I try to stay away from sets.

Good warm up under my belt, I decided to try again to break my unique tripless record. I figured I had more time than on Friday, so I should be able to break 16 without too much trouble. I wisely changed up the order of my run, so that my weakest link was now my 2nd link, as opposed to my 3rd. That alone shot up my consistency. I managed to hit 16 unique on 2 separate occasions, but each time I barely missed my next attempted link. Kinda frustrating.

I realized why the unique tripless goal is so frustrating to me. When I play for fun, I try a whole bunch of different combos/sets/links/etc. Whenever I hit one, or have a nice string, its fun and rewarding. But with the unique tripless goal, I only really feel satisfied and rewarded if I can hit over 16, and that takes a lot more time and energy to do. If I hit 14 contacts, its a failure. So my failure/fun rate is much higher than when I just play normally. Also, if I hit like 6 dexless, I feel good cause I know my links are improving with that practice, whereas the tripless string I`m going for consists of links which are all pretty much dialed, so I don`t feel like I`m even getting great practice out of it or anything. I accept my 2 runs of 16, and move on.

I skooled spins and dexless for a bit, which was definitely more fun. Was happy to hit ducking clipper to mobius (plant) on my first try, and also hit vortex on the other spin within a few tries. I also hit flip vortex (plant), so that felt pretty good. Rare sighting of merkon bsos as well.

Mostly though, I skooled my frantic sets. I was very relieved and happy to see my consistency with them return a good bit. I had a couple breakthroughs yesterday, but for convenience`s sake, I`m just going to list all my frantic tips in one place, right here:

Ken`s tips for Frantic sets.

1. Lean over the bag slightly. Stay over the bag throughout the set, and throughout the ensuing move.
2. Set the bag real close to you. Kinda like quantum or atomic in this respect.
3. The initial pixie set should be strong, but not high. Try to get the first dex at a low/normal height.
4. Keep the miraging leg as straight as possible. Resist the temptation of bending at the knee to see where the bag is. Imagine the bag is coming up under your thigh.
5. Both dex legs move at equal speed, with equal force. Don`t overwork your pixie, and don`t let the mirage leg slack off. Team effort, people!
6. Think "pixie set pixie."

My last session I was thinking too hard about the set, and it kinda messed me up. In a return to my Saturday mindframe, I thought of Ewalk as "pixie pixie butterfly", and frantic ss butterfly as "pixie parkwalk" and that helped my consistency and cleanliness immensely. Frantic SS butterfly is a pain to write out... does this have a name? PM me if it does. Since I will write that move name repeatedly, I`m going to casually refer to it as "Jawa" for the rest of this blog, until I learn otherwise. So from now on (in this blog), frantic ss butterfly= Jawa.

I restored my confidence in my frantic set by hitting EWalk to blur on my first try, and hitting Jawa to blur for my second time ever, pretty easily. Soon enough I hit jawa to blurry whirl, and all day was was close to Jawa-food. On Saturday I hit Jawa-WHAT?! but forgot to mention it in my entry. Jawa to Mullet to a string. I also hit Frenzy again... my third in as many days. Ewalk to torque. Jawa to torque. Jawa to 8 dexless. Jawa to paradox blender. Jawa to ducking osis, and in the same run I bsosed ducking osis and diving osis. The highlight of the session though was hitting Ewalk-tombstone. Snuck in a flurry in the sealing combo. Mostly my sealing combos weren`t notable... once I got the frantic move/combo out of the way, I just went for dexless, and gyro clipper was rusty on one side, leading to short sealing combos. I think a really nice combo would be EWalk-swifter.

Finished off my session with an easy 29 guiltless string, then went in to shower. I`ve played 6 days in a row, and its been pretty rollercoastery from session to session. Still, definitely more good than bad, and I feel good about how my frantic is coming in. My stamina and consistency are also likely better for it too. I feel happy that frantic no longer hurts me, and that I hadn`t lost it since the weekend.

Now the question is, after 6 consecutive days of shred, do I pull a God? Or do I shred again? Both you and I will know the answer to that tomorrow... or do we already?

don't let him fool you!!! it took the guy like 30 minutes to finish a bowl of ramen because he was chatting it up so much. Keita and Extacy and i were sitting there for a good 10 minutes watching him eat, then talk, then rais his chop sticks to his mouth, then lower them and talk, and then raise them again, but start talking before he ate any noodles, etc. etc. i think i ended up finishing it off for him. either way, ken talks alot, but he always has some clever insight ("No none of them are!"), or some interesting bull shit to tell you ("Yeah so are you right handed, or left handed...?"). Luckily though, all these atributes make him one hell of a tour guide!

EDIT 1: jawa> tombstone = style in reserve. next time we play i want to see that one. and maybe i'll even give you props for it before you ask!

EDIT 2: Jawa > WHAT? would be sooooooo coooool! i still have trouble picturing What? even though i know what What? is.

WHAT?! is butterfly symposium reverse swirling opp toe stall. Now you see why it needed a name. Hopefully I can get footage of it online... maybe x+y can help?

Right on. So yesterday I had another light footbag session. It was real light, but I still count it as a session, which makes it 1 full week of playing everyday. I ran a bunch of errands yesterday after work, and shredded as I was doing my laundry, so I didn`t focus too hard on playing. My warmup was pretty shoddy... kicks went fine, but I dropped a lot in my tiltless section, and my guiltless section I didn`t concentrate enough on. Instead of doing my typically easy guiltless, I really cut down on the BOPs, and so my best guiltless warmup was maybe low 40s or high 30s. Can`t even recall the number. For the first half of the session I just never felt real motivated to do anything, so I dicked around with lots of random strings. At least I had good variety of components, and I throw spins in my runs a lot more naturally.

As the final load of my laundry was beginning, I decided I should hit at least a couple things so I could write something in my zine. I hit ducking clipper to mobius within a couple tries, and shortly thereafter hit vortex within a couple tries using the other spin. Happy those moves are getting more consistent, but I still don`t really throw them midcombo yet. In any case, a couple months ago hitting those tricks at all was a major session highlight, so I`m glad that I`ve gotten to the point where it`s become kinda standard.

I started off the session promising myself to not drill tripless or frantic stuff, but at the end I figured it wouldn`t hurt to get in some frantic practice. Jawa to blur to reassure myself of my set. Crispy pixie torque (bacon!). Ewalk to paradox torque. It crossed my mind that I had hit Frenzy my past 3 sessions, so I thought it`d be fun to extend the streak, and spent a while going for frenzy. I think I should invest more time skooling this trick, because it really does force me to get a better set. Had it off my foot a bunch of times, and finally sealed a good one. So the frenzy streak goes on. I also spent some time trying flipside frantic, but not much luck there.

Every add I put on my lavers makes me better.
