laver wearing heineken commercial

on the discovory channle while watching a show at 11 about masive constructions of locks for boats an subway building an what not. well there was a heineken commercial i seen 3 times an each time became more an more positive, or at least intreged. the commercial went like this.

there are about 6 super heros dressed futuristic like, an there was a normal guy, i cant think of his name, but all the super heros are sceptic an are asking what good he is, an he says well i do have one power, an he takes his shoe off an holds it buy the heel pointing up an turns it in to a heineken beer an the one super hero says, "he can room with me to night" the shoe... is all white, an looks like A LAVER!!! if its not a laver its a very awsome shoe, hope someone else seen it an maybe thought the samething.

I've seen this commercial several times. I think they are Lavers too. Funny commercial. I saw another one with Ellen Degeneres where she's got the black perforated lavers on.

i havent seen this commercial...sounds funny though. ill be on the lookout...
it brings to mind a picture book i flipped through about the punk rock scene in L.A. during the 70s(?). about midway through the book there is a scruffy caracter posing in front of what i think i remember to be a nightclub or music venue with a pair of lavers on. i should have ripped that pic out and kept it.

**edit** the picture book is called 'were desperate'. its a photo book about the punk scene in SF/LA during the late 70's (early 80s) with pics of people like john waters, thurston moore and iggy pop, amongst a bunch of other pics of interesting punkers. it also has some references and pics of bands like the avengers, the nuns and the stooges. there are two pics of kids wearing lavers but there may be more seeing as how some of the pics have been ripped out.
