heyyyy...

I've been sitting at home since I'm back from Switzerland... I'm soooo bored. I've seen 1 000 000 movies on dvd and almost finished really long book (the Da Vinci Code), read all National Geographics from more than a year, slept 15 hours a day... haha... I can't think of anything else to do! but hopefully, I'll be able to shred on Saturday!!!!!!!!

... the only thing I want to do is to play footbag!!!! I havn't been kicking since Saturday!! it's really depressing...!yeppp... I'm sitting in front of my comp and getting fat!

hehe... that's funny, soo many people caught flu at footjam! I can count at last 15 people who are ill now!!

ekh... this post is pointless!

today I had second shred after footjam (because of my illness), yesterday's was really awfull cause it was too hot outside to shred, it was even hard to breathe... we made a little show at the market squer, 4 of us were plaing and one person were giving flyers inviting to our small tournament on Saturday! hope lot of people is going to come! guys from few citis nearby are coming, also guys from Szczecin are going to visit us! will be cool!

today I had shred with Damian (polish champion) it was really funny,
cause he forgot his shoes and was plaing barefoot on the dirty asphalt! 8)
it wasn't a real shred, we were traing single tricks (new moves), new sets, or new links. It was good for me cause I'm still not in a good form after my ilness..
I tried zulu clipper for the first time in my life! haha... I almost hit it twice, but it would have been the most funny zulu clipper in the world, and Damian's edvices and explanations were even more funny!
I hit fairy butterfly and egg beater couple of times, also 4 or 5 spinnsi in a row (bs) :D, 6 magellans in a row (yahoo). I was also drilling sidewalk> ripwalk cause my sidewalks suck! I managed to hit sidewalk>ripwalk>sidewalk>ropwalk>sidawalk...

I LOVE ZULU CLIPPER lol

hey Daryl!
yep it was cool that our teams hung out together a lot!
thanks for all the trips to the gas station!
I'm glad you liked polish h-h, I tried to choose the best songs (in my opinion) 8)

sooo.. GFO, it's a really long story!

For us everything started on THURSDAY, Wiktor came to Wrocław, me and Damian, came to the train station as a welcoming committee. Later, we went to our shred spot kicked and film (cause Wiktor brought his camera) a little. After taht we had really nice party with other guys from Warsaw, who came to make an exhibition in Wroclaw. Me and Wiktor went home around 1 or 2 o'clock and had to wake up at 6 to get to the train station at 7 to meet Gosia and Szymon and to catch our train to Szczecin. (city 15 km from german border).
FRIDAY
Berlin team= Gosia, Szymon, Wiktor and Hania
We spent about 3 hours in the very slow train to Poznan and had to catch another one there. Our first train arrived about 10 minutes later, so we had 2 minutes to find the right train to Szczecin... luckily, we managed to get to the train in the last moment! we couldn't find any free compartment and had to seat on our bags next to the toalete! yeah, I love it...
At the train station Godi and Piechu (footbagers from Szczecin) were allready waiting for us. We left our bags in Godi's place and went to their shred spot, which was a huge out door theatre. Really cool shred place! unfortunately I could'n play, but it was cool to watch cool stuff which guys were hitting! Piechu's runs are soo extremly long and he can hit lot of 5 and 6 in each of them!I hate him for not going to Berlin!
In the evening we had few beers in the center of Szczecin, and as usuallu went to bed too late, cause we had to wake up at 4 o'clock to catch our bus to Berlin (btw, busys from Szczecin to Berlin are very cheap, one way cost 30 pln=7,5 euro).
SATURDAY
It was about 8 o'clock in the morning when we arrived to Berlin...

to be continued! (saturday, sunday and monday to come!)

GFO, Saturday!

sooooo...
Berlin team arrived to Berlin (Alexander Platz, it definitely isn't the most beautiful place in Berlin)) at 8 o'clock. After 20 minutes we managed to find our metro line and buy 2 tickets (each of us) for 2 euro. We had to change the metro line, and unaware that ticket was valid for 2 hours or so, we canceld 2nd ticket in 15 minutes time...  it happens!
ok, after entertaining metro trip, and 20 minute walk with heavy bags and lack of sleep we found (again with some difficulties) the tournament spot. It was completely deserted, there were no footbag posters or any other signs of footbag... we got a little confused, first we thought that we didn't find the right location, than we started to wonder if it was the right weekend... so, we were sitting at our backpacks and started to be scared, when we saw Paul Cronjager, who was sooooo kind and offered us a lift to the sleeping place (everybody was there). thanks Paul!
After one or two hours of sleep at the gym, we went outside to eat something, that's when I met Verena, I wasn't very talkative thene, cause I need at least 1 hour to became normal after waking up! I can also remember meeting Bjoern, who offered me his special ointment to heal my foot, it was really funny cause when I saw it, I realized that it was exactly the same thing I had in my bag from my polish doctor "Voltaren
?shmerzgel?"
ok, after good breakfast Polish team decided to go to the tournament site, which was preaty crowdy already!
It was firs foregin tournament I attend but didin't compete... I felt really strange. The only good side was that I could watch all the routines without worring about warming up, without stress before my routine, and I could drink beer all day long  !
I spent lot of time with Verena as usualy :D she's so nice! I like Munich crew even more now! you guys are great, thanks for all the trips to gas station... I can be your translater from polish to english when you are here in Poland! or maybe I'll learn german some day (heh...  )
It was funny to kick mr. Smile... who was in the circle? Verena, Bjoern, Gosia...
One strange thing I noticed, is that I'm more tired when I don't play than
when I compete. At afterparty I was so exhausted, that my bigges dream was to get to my sleeping bag! conclusion, competing+parting is good to keep fit 8) !

Sunday,

hmmm... chill out in the swimming pool with Wiktor and Ian :D , would be cool to visit Australia one day! hope you like polish h-h I gave you! Actually, I think I read somewhere that you likeed it...
I tried to shred a little bit with Ilja (his style is awesome! and he's such a nice guy... he remindes me of one of the shreders from Szczecin)
and Verena (see ya in 2 weeks!! :D :D :D :D ) but aftere I hurt my foot 3rd time I decided to sit down and watch...
Before we had left Berlin, we eat the best kebap I have ever eaten! that's why I love Berlin! for it's kebaps!
I left my towel (the same one, which I left in Paris at Frech footbag open, and which Charles gave me back at tdx)at the backstage area on saturday night, and tought it's lost. but, when we were leaving touranment spot on sunday, Gosia told me that she prapably saw my towel, and I should chceck if it's mine! and I foud it!
hehe... taht's my lucky towel, I just can't lose it! :D
Polish Berlin team left Berlin at 20:00 and went to Szczecin, slept there, had a little shred on Monday and came back to wroclaw Monday evening!

wow, long story... 8)

back in the game?

Post by Hania »

hey everybody... 8)
its been a while since my last post here. I dont know if its a good idea to start with my footblod again but maybe it will be some kind of motivation for me... who knows. I had really bad period in my footbag career for last couple of months. Mybe I was too lazy or sufferd from demobilization... whatever... also my lofe has changed alot... anyways plaing footbag wasnt fun for me any more. However bad it sounds, I think Im back in the game stronger and with the most motivation ever 8)

actually... my combos are not as long as it used to be, but Im working on it! Its winter so lot of people is in the worse form, at least I think so...
I've hit few new moves in last 3 days :D
as I remember: (not all tricks are new, but some of them very unusual for me, and I started to hit them more frequently, so I count them as new once)
pixi symp mirage (I can even hit it midstring, so its cool)
pixi whirl (also midstring)
barrage and butterfly>barrage>run...
smear> double atw
also fairy mirage and fairy buterfly
pdx mirage> symp mirage> smear> toe whirl (repeat)

Im curious if I'll keep writing here
