I have no piercings/tattoo's. I don't think they would suit me really.

Mary, i have a question. Feel free to not answer it, or perhaps a PM would be more appropriate. Anyway, with the... ahem.. 'special' piercing, wasn't that a bit... umm.. awkward? Like, i'm guessing that you had to assume the position (in one way or another). Must've been kinda.. odd.. you know, to have that done in front of a stranger?

James: when are you coming out to Houston? I am in the Houston Skyliners...we usually meet every Satuday at Memorial Park around 12 or 1. Yeah, pm me and we can work out the details...would love to shred with ya
Doylie: Yeah, it was a bit awkward to lay on the table and spread em. The guy was real respevtful though. I didn't cry, but I screamed bloody murder for a second or two. I seem to remember not being able to walk quite right for about 3 weeks...but damn, it really was worth it. I have to say it is my fav. piercing! ScaRy MaRy

Chan, actually, it's on his right calf... of course I know, I'm his best friend. In fact, it was my idea.

I've still got the basic design for a footbag inspired tattoo, hanging on my wall.
I need it 'spruced up'. It's kinda tribal by design, but I just can't get the 'ends' right.
When I get it done, I'll show you.
But I call it 'Nemesis', because that's the trick that inspired the design.
Comment in the BCS blog if you feel the need to.

I am working on a tattoo design that I hope to get ASAP.

I used to be really into this wierd word art.. okay, I was effing obsessed to be honest.

Anywho, I make words that can be read in a variety of different ways.
They may say a different word (or the same word) when turned upside down or in a mirror or whatever.

The tattoo I want is one I have done a preliminary design of.
I want MOSHER across my shoulders in the ye olde tyme font except it will be symmetrical about its center. meaning that in a mirror it will still read MOSHER.

Pretty cool eh?

Nice! The thing where you can read it right side up or upside down is an ambigram, i believe.

I don't get it, but it's just me.
One not-so-cool tattoo would be your last name with big letters and under that your "playing number" in your back, like in ice hockey or other team sports playing shirts. :P (I was inspired by that Tom's post :D)

I don't have any tattoos and I'm not planning to have one.

Yeah, I do some of those.

I call the ones you flip over inversions, though they don't necessarily have to be the same word when you flip it. (the same word ones take half the work of a different word one.)

My MOSHER idea isn't a flippy one. It just always says MOSHER, even in a mirror.

I have four.

Two on my right wrist--Sick of it All dragon w/ kanji meaning faithful/loyal under it. I checked, it really means it. (always gets compliments, even from really really old people) I got the dragon first (on the day one of my x-girls left for bootcamp) then got the kanji when she returned (because I was faithful the whole three months she was gone). I had plenty of opportunities to cheat, but she was/is still my first love.

One on my left forearm--AFI. It was my second tat, and I was really into AFI. It was before they started to play the really whiny stuff. It will be incorporated into the sleeve/half vest I plan on getting on my left side when I bulk up and can afford it.

One one my left shoulderblade--EBHC in some nice letters drawn by some guy I used to go to school with. EBHC=East Bay HardCore. Also in my AFI phase. I still love it though. It waas my first.

scarymary got some more ink done a couple days before she left us. she paid $30 for a slew of multicolored stars wrapping, swirling upward starting at her left foot, traveling up her leg, her back, wrapping around her body, and ending at her chest/throat. she didnt get to finish the tattoo entirely...it was really pretty. lots of color and drawn free-hand by the artist.
