Taken from the first page, here are some good ones.
carl winslow wrote: the person who creates the best topics

coolest SN and so on....
.
I was also thinking best video maker could be good, and as pointed out, best title (words under your screen name).

yeah I don't like the idea of a best title award because only particular people have individuel ones - many people have the same title. Also I'd have to vote for "Newbie" because of Brad Kaplan's amazing humour and I know it would win so I don't want to put up an award where the person I want to win doesn't :P

Lists are good - but what I really want is opinions - ie. tell me which award in particular you'd like to see - otherwise I'll come up with something really stupid like "most likely to eat a corn and spinach pie"

Good one, but isn't Damon supposedly back now?

I still like "Next to get terminated" but I like "Best stitcher" too. Anyways...

I nominate Erik Chan because every time I look on the beginner section Erik Chan is always giving advice and encouraging the newbies.

Good work Erik! :D

I've nominated Colin Kennedy (Newf) - although I don't know if it's appropriate - I nominated him because of the amount of help he gives at the .org forum which has way more newbs than this forum - and I think he gives more help there than all the people who have been nominated combined give here (nothing against them - because modified doesn't have the same amount of newbs that .org has). Obviously these awards are modified awards so I don't know if help outside of the forum should be taken into account - but regardless of that - I just wanted to spend this time to thank Colin for all his help - I'm sure he makes a big difference. Clayton Chin and Jochen Bauer also deserve big thanks for their help!! :D

Colin Kennedy! Same reason - I do not have to decide if he will come into the list - but I can definitely make my nomination - thanks for helping
