bearfeet + lavers = smelly

Post by zachatree »

i usaly hate not wearing socks. but when it comes to footbag id rather be bearfooted, no socks in my lavers. it tends to eat away at the insole faster an i need to get new ones now an then. but the smell is the worst part... is there any good products out there for this? i hand wash them an i usaly take some of my moms bath an body works stuff an spary the shit out of them... this works till the next shred session. but then the smells back an as i sit here in my computer chair in my cave, i start to smell my own feet.... its really not that great. so anyone else have same problem or any products or any thing?

funny subject.

I got this product called socks that usually takes a bite out of the odour..

But in all honesty I just gave up on the barefootness and now just use really thin socks.

I don't play barefoot, but I use Goldbond foot powder in my lavers every once in a while. We have shoe disinfectant at work, too, which is mighty powerful -- try that. Not just an air-freshener, but a disinfectant spray meant for cleaning shoes. I forget what the brand is, but I can check tomorrow -- I work at a bowling alley, so we use pretty top-notch shoe-cleaner as it's the only way we clean the shoes............... (not very often either...beware!)

hahaha , i use goldbond foot powder to the point that it turns my red lavers in to a more orange collor from puting to much in the inside.... its a nice cool feeling tho for the time that the powder last. but i really need some kinda strong spray. give me some name brands please.

I tried playing barefooted a few times. i was into for about a week. i couldn't take it anymore though because i had a hole growing in the bottom of my right shoe, and whenever i did spins, my toe would get torn up because i was playing on concrete for awhile due to my shred symposium being overrun by carpenters. You can buy very thin socks from sports stores, they actually feel quite nice.

I use Kiwi Fresh Force Shoe Freshener spray on my CT 520s about twice a week. Pretty cheap (under $5). Give it a try!
