I'm glad my twenty hours of understanding premiere pro and making this video paid off. I didn't put any of me in it because... well I really wanted to put Chad footage out and Jay just busted so well that day that they coupled nicely. Next video will be of me, I pwomise

Nice video Aaron!

And i just got premiere pro, and i dont understand how to separate a clip into two at an exact spot

Like i can use the razor, but then i get the wrong frame sometimes.

Like, a hotkey or something?

Henry: To seperate clips at an exact point simply zoom in to, like, a super fine view. I Generally work at the "2-second" view, and "1/2-second" to work on details (sometimes "1-frame", even, if I'm trying to do something super precise!). For a 10-minute video I will use about "10-second" view to observe the overall timeline. For a longer video (30-minutes) I will go up to a couple minutes.
Often the reason it will not cut precisely where you want it to is because it uses the "snap-to" feature and assumes you're trying to edit according to other clips' positioning. I'm not sure if that last sentence made sense, but if you have any questions you can PM me!

I hope this helps. I would have PMed, but thought other people could benefit from this too :)

Oh yeah, and about the video...atomic drifter beesauce!! I didn't even notice that the first time -- Jason is way too smooth!

Henry: At the top of the timeline window of Prem Pro You'll see a grey bar with 'arrows' on each end. Click and drag the 'arrow' to shorten or lengthen the timeframe you want to edit in.
Pretty much what Erik said.

Thanks again for the comments, I really look forward to them when I put as much effort into my vids as this one took. I've decided that I will continue to make videos but really work on my editing skills each time to create a crisper, more lively, overall better video then the one preceding it. Thus, if you could, please tell me what you enjoyed the most and what I could work on to improve the video more. I'm really focusing on sound to make these videos come together if anyone has noticed. I actually pick the song before the video itself, to give me an idea of how the final outcome should look before I begin it. Wierd? Oh well, I already have my next two/three videos thought up and can't wait to start filming again.

Take care and thanks again,

Aaron

I didn't here the background noise. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that I thought the pauses (black screen) between clips was a little too long. I hate saying anything bad about people's videos, but hey, you asked.

I really hate noticing anything bad about your videos in particular though. How can you do anything wrong when you got some of the greatest shredders in the US to shred with daily. You lucky devil (dog, hahahaha. I got you leatherneck.) But seriously, I REALLY love your videos. Keep them coming pleeeeeaaaase, and I will always find a way to watch them.
