Which footblogs do you read?+idea

Post by DoctorJay »

Always:

Paris
Munich
Dortmund

Regular:
Sam
Jeremy
Bum

Moreover it would be cool to have one blog where people could post their top-stories.
I am very interested in reading some stories about the people or tournament reports but I haven't the time to look for it in all blogs.
I guess it would be possible that there is one blog stickied where people could post their story.

What footblogs do you read and what do you think about the topblog idea

I barely post, since I hardly have anything to add, but I read Mosher's, Aaron's, Matt's, Jeremy's, Lon's, and a few others a lot.

All the Finnish:

Turku (Anssi, Olavi aka Virppa aka Antti aka Antti Olavi Virolainen, sometimes _even_ Felix (I'm not sure if he has ever posted there)
Matti's net blog (möhkäle)
...and obviously my own.

Sometimes I read the Munich blog, rarely anything else.

When there is a time restraint I only look for the Bethlehem Blog. Otherwise, I'd have to say:

- Lon Smith's
- Jeremy OWheel's (when I feel like reading about touch footy)
- Jeremy Mirken's
- Byrin Wylie's
- Ryan Seath's
- the Ceiling Fan's (when I feel like reading a lot)
- Yacine Merzouk's

Then if I have a lot of time, I just read everything.

In no particular order...

Johnny Suderman
Jeremy O'Wheel
Jorden Moir
Tom Mosher / KFM blog
David Clavens
David - bigdirtyfoot
Wim
Ken Somolino
Lon Smith
Erik Chan
Jochen
Munich Crew
Ashley D.
Henry
Szymon
Max (max)
Setman (damn forgot his name, sorry bro :()
Lauri
Pawel
Hania
Loren
Jeremy Mirken
Sam
Aaron
Moxie
James Erickson
Nasty Nate
Jackblog
Kevin Crowley / Montana crew
FTB blog

That's off the top of my head so I'm most likely missing other people's blog on there. That section is my favorite place to go and is also the place where I spend most of my time on modified :)

EDIT - Forgot some names. I think that's about it...

Edit # 3 - I think I got them all...

Edit #4 - Forgot the WV Crew

Yeah I like the idea.

Regarding my favourite blogs - I read all the blogs - but not very often. So every now and then I'll randomly choose a blog that's been posted in and read what's been said. If I notice that a blog that doesn't get posted in very often has a comment I'm more likely to read that than the blogs that have new posts all the time.

Fuck y'all!!! I don't read anybody's but mine!!! Who cares what's goin on with the rest of you bitches!!!

Actually I read everybody's that posts daily and any new one (the yellow bell). I try to get all the yellows gone before I get off modified. I really enjoy a select few though (you should know who you are). I love reading when people are exited about hitting new tricks. It makes me as happy as if I had hit them myself. It seriously makes my really really happy. I smile so big when I hear that someone has hit something that they've been trying for a while.

Well it's your idea - you are more than welcome to do it - you know better than anybody exactly what you had in mind so it's probably best if you do it! :D

I think it's great. I was planning to say it there but then decided to leave all the comments here and put there only the stories that belong there. :)

Hmm; blogs that catch my eye:
Ashley Danowski
Andrew Grant
Sam Colclough
Jeremy Mirken
Johnny Suderman
James Randall
James Erickson
Camille Surovy
Kevin Regamey

I actually had to look on the Footblogs forum to remember. These are the ones that I always check. I would love to read them all and lots others that I used to read (my favourites always seem to change...I don't know why), but yesterday I decided to read EVERY SINGLE blog, and it took me, like an hour...Gee! I accomplished absolutely nothing yesterday. I woke up, like, three hours before work and spent it all watching a couple episodes of Gargoyles (oh yeah!) and sitting on Modified...wow.

I also check some of my older favourites from time to time:
David Clavens
Ken Somolinos
Byrin Wiley
Jorden Moir
(these ones are without checking, so I'm leaving out a lot more...)
