The best week of my summer last year was the week of the Taste. Alligator on a stick, turtle soup, almost a lot of really good sugary frozen deserts... The rooftop BBQ on the 4th was full of shenanigans and good food. Have a great time and don't forget to light a few bottle rockets in my name.

P.S. Please take pictures. PLEASE, PLEASE tape and post some of it on Modified. And that request goes to everyone going. Highland Park crew, Wisconsin crew, CIC, everyone. If all of you intend on taping and posting, maybe one person will be actually tape and post some footage.

E-mailed the local kickers again to come out that weekend and kick with us. Also sent mail to Brad Robinson, Juan Rangel, and Greg Nelson to ask if they will be coming.

I love shredding with Juan and Greg, I hope that can make it out. I can't wait to shred with all these new guys and see you again Eric, I didn't think I'd see you this soon ! I'm so excited, this is my big summer break = One full weekend of fun. Then when i get back, it's back to school, work, and givin away my precious plasma

yes iam really excited to shred with you mahood. That day is gonna be a blast.

There should be a good turnout. The big no shows as of what i know will be Reid strellner, josh elmer, will rockey

Other than that i hope everyone else comes out.

and in typical Chicago fasion the temperture is rising fast. I would be shocked if its below 90 deg the entire taste of chicago. something about the taste that its always the hottest days of the year in chi town.

I will be there saturday with the girlfreind we will kick a little bit but mostly will be taking in the sites, food, and drinky. Sunday im coming with one thing on my mind SHRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully i can con one of my buddies to come with a cam corder and make a video of the day. Maybe if i sabotage his internet connection he will be more motivated.

Talked to HooD just now. He's stuck in traffic

. But he's got summer classes on Monday and he would prefer to start Sunday's jam early, around 12-2. Realisticaly, the earliest I can set the time would be 1pm. We can do this

Tasty Taste was pretty fun today!

John Mahood, Shawn, Nathan, Zeke, REILE, Jon, Brian Dooley, and I came out.

John Mahood is a really cool guy! And he's an awesome freestyler. I like his bouncy rhythm in between moves, and his moves are really tight. Reverse swirls midstring like what. Pdx drifters and atomic moves so tight and fast. Ducks all over da place.

I was really happy to freestyle with Reile and Zeke. Everyone was playing really well today. Reile was sweating like a madman. Jon was raking and torquing it up. I started off sucky and dropping, but in a little I was busting PHAT! I hit my first pigbeater - like nothing. Right after I explained to a guy I had only been playing a few months...bwahahaha. Lies lies lies, yeah. I've hit it b4, but last times the 1st 2 dexes were uptime = crispy sailing legover.

We played in a bit of a bad spot today...the music crowd kept closing in on our circle. It was cool on one hand cuz people kept applauding us, but on the other hand people kept walking through the circle or getting stepped on.

Zeke took pics today.

Tomorrow should be mucho fun also.

Eric Siegel, Shawn, Kamil, Zeke, Nathan, Jon, Barbara, Lazaro, Freddy, and I came out today. John Mahood came out after i left.

Mucho fun had today. Eric Siegel was playing smoothly as usual. I was happy to play with Shawn...it has been a while.

Eric almost hit Ripped Warrior>Blurry whirl with some Mobius at the end for spice. The whirl was barely no good, but it was still a very nice run.

losts of fun.

saturday i spent the day with my gf at the taste taking in the sites some food and ice cream. Then met with you guys and i got to shred with mahood and riely witch was awesome to see those two push each other to do some huge strings and tricks. Even my girlfreind really enjoyed watching us play she said it was really cool to see all the different styles people had.

sunday i came out alone at about 2 pm and shred hard off and on until about 8 pm. frisbe was cool zekes im really impressed with zekes frisbe skills.

Peeps kept calling for me to hit pheonix even though i know i absolutely cant do it. i saw mahood hit it 2 or 3 times so clean and easy looking, that boy can set huge

sunday was also the sweatiest day of my life, it was really gross and of course i had to forget a towel just to make it worse.

you boys have fun at the rest of the taste weekend.

Yeah sunday was fun. Too bad I left before Mahood got there. I think I kicked with him in Montreal but I'm not quite sure.

Props to Tom on hitting pigbeater, and bedwetter, and making them both look really easy. Too bad we didn't shred more, but hackin' in a big circle with Zeke was fun too.

Anyways, normally I'd be really excited about Risden coming out, but alas, I have family coming over that day, all day:

Oh well. Any shred sunday? Or maybe friday late afternoon?
