Dear BlogReaders,
I have a very special treat for the people who read my blog. Ashley bought me a webcam and i just recentley realized i could use my sister's computer as a means of filming, and then use my computer to edit it. My sister is pretty paranoid about her stuff so she wouldnt let me use it normally, so why she was at work i took it and filmed for a half hour. Out of 30 minutes I got 6 of ok shred, which is a good ratio. This is not a hugely accurate representation of my skill but it is good, and most of the lines are average. I switch shoes becuase i wanted to relearn pixies with walls, and my white ones have them + are 1 week old. The video is from a WEBCAM. Remember that. Im sorry but its all i got. On many clips you cannot tell cleanliness so trust me, 90% of the shit is clean. The 2nd barrage in plasticman is thin, the blurrier is thin, etc. The last trick is alright, i think its clean. There are combos with janiwalkers that may appear to be ripwalks, but... they arent. Idk, i will keep messing with the camera and get it clearer. For now please enjoy the first footage of me in 4 months.

Becuase it is not easy to see whats up, i transcribed a few of the first lines here: http://www.freewebs.com/bethlehemfootba ... 0first.txt
Peace.

Hey David -- this was incredible!! HUUUUGE moves!
You're not going to post it in the videos section? I'm so lucky I checked here -- I don't like when people don't post their sick videos on the video section (especially when they are THIS amazing!!)
I had no trouble telling what anything was from the bad quality video -- it was good. Thanks Dave!

ive hit 7 fearless, 3 variations. talking to johnny suderman last night opened up some doors for 8 using sumo, and more alpine stepping tricks. ill see if i can put together 8 today.
sumo>phenoix>ripped warrior>blurry whirl>blurry whirl>blurriest>spin whirl>ps whirl might not be so hard.

that was only a half hour. when i shred for 2 and get better stuff, then ill post it. i also can figure out better quality by messing with lighting.

It's ok for novice players to use webcams, cause their movements aren't exactly...NEMESIS !!!! Props on the whole vid, I thought the 2nd song went a lot better with the vid. The first one could blend better, but it'd take a higher quality video to show the seriousness of your shred. You had huge combos left and right, it was just amazing. I'm sure to someone that is new to footbag or doesn't footbag, you look like a blur of insanity that has escaped from the mental institution, but to me, I saw some amazing shit. I would never have believed you would play like this when you first started. Props.
More C4 please <3

sick session right? im kinda bummed that its all fearless, but i never just do that so it was mad fun. 4 new variations of 7 fearless! and i broke my record with 8. wtf. the thing im even more stoked on is that there were tons of cool 5 fearless that i just didnt write down. sweet! although this all took a very long time, i dont care, becuase that just means next time it will be shorter. i broke my unique tripless by like 12 lol, i hit some cool new tricks like alpine atom, and just felt super confident through the whole sesh. i wish i could have these everyday.
peace.

i played for a little bit today, but then my relatives came over for fathers day. my knees are kinda sore from all the whirrs and shit ive been doing. i know that probably means i have bad form or something. w/e.
today i worked mobius a lot, started hitting it more midstring and into stuff. mobius>bw>bw was good.
i watched true playaz last night. i dont know how anyone thinks jorden is close to vasek. no offence, but just watch 2 minutes of true playaz and its mindboggling. of course, i think vasek was better then then he is now. i think 6>6>6>6 is harder then symp flurry>dod swirl>ripstein, but then again, i cant hit either. i would much rather see big aerial tricks like whirlwind then low techy stuff. but thats just me and hardly anyone agrees.
i think the perfect mix of a game is old vasek + new bevier + furious. this is what i strive for. bevier has good solid shuffle with unique tricks thrown in. old vasek has the power tricks and combos that i love. furious is a good solid set that new vasek has. new bevier has a lot of cool drifter and gyro dlo links, with good gyro links scattered. these three things together would make a player i would love to watch. sometimes i watch vasek and just think "oh man do pdx. dlo" cuz he hardly does. but when i watch bevier i want to see more 5>5>5's, or like whirlwind>spin pdx. blend. either way, those are just thoughts.
richard abshire is sending me back my mini. he says its sick now. hopefully it is. it sucked before.
i work tonight till 11. i hope that i have energy to shred tonight. but i dont know what id skool. im sick of beating myself up doing furious and ps whirls for two hours. oh well.
i have a nifty lonn bag that i got from ashley. its an awesome shell, but the filler blows. i think i might send it to her with some money and see if she can fix it up. the only bag i use now is my mirken. hopefully my mini abshire will be fit for shred as well. im very picky about my bags which sucks. like, when i go to comps idc what i use, but when im skooling on my own i like to have a nice bag that does what i want. shrug.
if you read this stuff and have thoughts or opinions, post. i always enjoy reading comments. but dont do it out of pity or anything.

edit: i went outside and played for my cousins and showed them footbag. i hit montage for the first time. new 7 baby.

i so would rather see low add techy stuff then whirlwind> spinning blender> ps whirl> pdx torque> old vasek combos. old vasek was good, but new vasek is better. he thed so much of what he used to do. you can hear sunil calling his thes in true playaz (or fo shizza, i can't recall). now it's tight and clean and even more controled. once you reach a certain level you can hit ps whirl out of nearly any move ending in clipper. how many people have the control to hit ripstein out of dod swirl with the control that vasek has. i bet a hand full of people could do it, but i bet it would be sloppy and wouldn't be nearly as tight. now how many could do it out of symp flurry? that narrows the group down alot.

Yeah I don't agree either but its cool to know what different people prefer. What you like will probably show up in your playing, especialy if you throw down as hard as the Cleeeeeeeev. I like watching downtime moves, osis moves, dexing moves set below the waist, and young brats who kick assdavid wrote: i would much rather see big aerial tricks like whirlwind then low techy stuff. but thats just me and hardly anyone agrees.
When yah gunna post a beast Mr. fearless??
thank you pat for being the only one to bump this in 20 days of me not writing in it.
i dont care for this blog anymore. it serves no purpose.

i havent lost my love of shred, just pointless journals no one reads.

It makes me happy to read the ridiculas shit that people are hitting despite the fact that they've been playing for less time than me. It makes me happy to know the potential of the sport of footbag is out there and being fulfilled, even if not by me.
And hell, sometimes you're pretty funny. Shred on!
