wow, so i have been neglecting footbag because of finals, but my last day was today so NOTHIN BUT FOOTBAG!!!! Tomorrow I am having some of the crew over to my house for footbag and swimming. It's gonna be awesome! I have a hefty goal for tomorrow, a pixie>ducking>butterfly, I know its lofty but I can do all the seperate things, just need to put em together.

Oh, I almost forgot...I was watching footbag videos on my computer and my mom was watchin them with me and she's been picking up the lingo and been very supportive, so she commented on how it must be great excersize. I said it was and she decided to give it a try, right off the bat she gets five kicks on both sides!!! So when the crew comes over tomorrow, my mom is gonna kick with my friend Sarah. I never thought I would want my mom hanging out with me and my friends, but this is just too cool.

Well, I gotta go to bed and rest up for some shred.

Peace

.....finally. I missed that feeling of my legs hurting from so much shred. Today Ben, Andrew, and Sarah came over for some shred. We played a good while, went swimming and ordered pizza. I guess my fathead goal of hitting Pheonix today was out of reach. BUT I DID HIT DOUBLE AROUND THE WORLD!!! And Ben said it was perfect form, and I just about had it on my flipside too! Now I am glad I am spending so much time mastering the basics, it really shows. I'll get bsos next week. But still.....Pheonix still tempts me.

So I have a week in Florida to look forward and no one that I know of to play with. While I'm gone I will miss two club meetings, so that sucks big-time! Well, I gotta go pack....peace.

Alright, back early from Florida so I could make the session. By the way, Florida sucked (not footbag wise, but weather etc.). Anyway, so I got in my car and picked up Sarah around 11. So I thought it would be an early day. WRONG. On the highway my car breaks down, luckily I was right by an exit and got away safely. But then I called Bum and he sent Chris who helped me push it into a parking lot. Then the towtruck came after about 30 min. So basically me and Sarah are stranded. Luckily Jeff scooped us up on his way to footbag. So everything worked out.

But the shred was great today. I did some double-dex moves I never tried such as Smear and Egg-beater. I got really close to a Pheonix, but I biffed the butterfly at the end. But we didn't get much taping done, so nuts.

Oh yeah, my mom made her first footbag today. A 14 panel that didn't turn out too bad. But my summer vacation pretty much starts this week, so I will be shredding like CRAZY!!!

That's all for now
Peace.

Wow, so my mom just finished up a 32 panel mini. It kicks ass! It's not broken in yet, but it's really good!

So today we (Ben, Jeff, and John) we to the skatepark by Ben's house and had a nice session. Of course since there were about 7 pre-adolescent skater boys there, one of them chimed in with the hilarious remark "Do you guys like playing with sacks" Of course me and John played along that we were gay, and something about Michael Jackson and sandwhiches (don't ask). It was hilarious....for a while, then I got annoyed so we left. So we left for Subway, yummmmmm. We went to another skatepark for about 1/2 hour, then we all parted ways and went home.

Saturday......best day of the week. But hot like none other. So I picked up Sarah real early and we arrived at Bum's house around 11:30. We went to Beam Hall and met Jeff and Jon on the way there. Awesome shredding going on today, Lil Andrew brought another 12 year old that he was training behind our back. I hit some clip>same osis (I think that was it), and some Butterfly B-sos action. So I was working on more clipper stuff. I can't remember the other things I did. Emmanuel brought a kid I know from school named Adrienne, so that was cool. Angel got a sandbag caught up in a rafter in Beam Hall and after much trial and error, Mike got it down with a lengthy piece of metal. Some people I've never seen showed up and I guess they will be coming next week, so that's bonus. Other than that, just another awesome footbaggin Saturday.

....By the way, my IFPA shirt finally came in the mail after like two months!

Oh, and leave some comments, fools! I feel like this thing is dead.

If by nerdiest you mean nerdiest, then yes. Hmmm...... I think you JUST said that, but i have been wrong before.

Lol nah you arent. When me, mike, ted, and Rockey were shredding in the winter we got on some crazy topic that mike/ted brought up. It was really complex math cause mike is really smart. I guess it wasnt nerdy, but very mathematically based.

Holy Ham-Sammich Batman! My 4th of July was the greatest!!!!
The footbag crew all descended upon a music festival called "Red, White and Boom". The entire day we were footbaggin, except for those breaks when we went to the pit. But let's see, the bands that played were Crossfade, Bowling for Soup, and Social Distortion. There was also this old-school crooner guy at the beginning, he was cool. But let's see, I finally hit a whirl when we were there. I had a lot of other awesome shred too, but I can remember. Let's see, we came across this big circle of Hacky-Sackers and we educated 'em a little bit. There was this gothic guy there that could kick really good. I gave him one of the business cards I made, so I hope to see him show up next Saturday. Bum also had Fox 5 video him for a little bit doing his thing, so that's bonus. Lot's of people were impressed. But the music was awesome too. I never really listened to Bowling for Soup before today, but one of our footbag songs is "Girl All the Bad Guys Want" and they played that and we footbagged to it. But I like them now. Social D. did an awesome job ending the show after an awesome fireworks show. So good friends, footbaggin, and awesome music made for ONE HELLUVA FOURTH OF JULY!!!
