Faith renewed for Footbag...

Post by Switch Kicker »

I'm officially appoligizing for being a total ass since I first got here. Some things I have said have been out of line, others, not so out of line.

I have just recently been put on Aderal (SP?), medication for Attention Deficit Disorder (Which has gotten in the way at school lately.). My doctor told me that I would be tired alot, and usually have mood swings, and basically be a grouch, and stuff like that for the first couple of weeks. When I started my account (Switch), I was on the med, meaning I wasn't exactly myself. Now that those symptoms have worn off, I have chosen a new name.

Again, very sorry for the horrible attitiude lately.

Happy footbagin'.

(Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, but this is where I was the biggest ass...)

No problem man. :D
I hope you're still interested in footbag (both sides of course) and be posting here on boards.

Hey man, seriously be careful with that stuff. I started taking it in grad school cause I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid and rediagnosed in adulthood. I had the same starting symptoms as you, and they went away; but after about two or three months I started to be anxious and get pissed off really easy. I've researched it a lot (I have my MA in clinical psychology) and found out that a lot of people have serious problems with the drug. If it works great, but if people tell you or you notice yourself getting really really irritated and pissed off you should tell your doctor right away. I almost lost my fiancee (at the time, now my wife) because I flipped out and screamed at her in a bar, and I have never gotten in a fight in my life and very very rarely raise my voice at all. Oh, also watch out for major weight loss; I know it's an amphetamine, but I lost way more weight while on Adderall than I did years ago when I used to do meth.
Today is what you make it. So, like, don't screw up the recipe. ^^
