i've noticed that high numbers of kicks come in streaks, when i first broke the century mark, around this time last year (hard to think it's been that long ago...) i ended up breaking my record twice later that week, then it took me like eleven months to break it again, at that point my record was 153, then later that week, i broke it again and now it's at 248... all i do is kick, i try doing some tricks when i'm around friends, but the hardest one i can get or come close to is the whip.

108 kicks today, with my non-footbag shoes. Not too bad, my old record was like 50 something.

I beat my record last night when I was trying to see what my average was. I got 427. Pretty good considering I just got my own bag.

PREPARE YOURSELVES MEER MORTALS.........

About 30!!!!!!!!

I actaully can't count and hack at the same time so I don't know exactly what it is but the most I have ever counted to was 26 hits, then I had a brian aneurysm from multi-tasking.

Is kicking important in freestyle? I don't do it enough. My record is only 141.

It's important to be able to control your legs and the footbag - so kicking helps a lot for that. You can probably get away with not being that good at it though

My record is 9 kicks. But that was like a random thing. I've maybe been playing footbag for like 4-5 hours (over like a weeks time so far) and the thing i enjoy practicing most is inside kicks. I normally hit about 4 or 5 with control. To show how newb i am though, i cant even do a toe kick (that wierd flicking action eludes me. Either the ball goes up like 3 inches or it fly off straight ahead of me). But yes, I shal break into the double digits tommorrow. Be anticipating my post.

I broke my previous record posted in this thread. My new record is 2279. I'm not going to try and break this again until I'm old and can't freestyle anymore.

400 hundred or something but I think I had two body faults, havnt tried in over 6 months though

what I really wanna learn is consec toe flicks, they are soooo damn hard (I wanna toe flick like vasek, its looks way cooler than insides when starting runs)

I think I've done over 30 toe flick kicks. I read Vasek was trying to get 1000 toe kicks... 8O

i read that the record for 5 minutes is 1019. to do that, would you just have to use toe flicks (which i assume is the fastest kick)?

That some guy is Tms, its on www.footbag.cz

I think that kicks are important when you start as like basics, but its not really essential to be able to do like over 100.

I found that when i started to focus on tricks and freestyle my kicks record was 45, and for 1 year and a half i didnt try consecutive kicks.

It turns out that last week i gave it a go and got to 200 and just hand catched it. So i think playing freestyle over time will naturally improve kicking.

By the way the world records for kicks are insane! I personally cant understand how they could do it for about 8 hours (is it?) and not feel bored at all.

I remember Jorden saying he also hit 2000+.
I've hit just under 1300 about 4-5 years ago, and never really tried since. I did about 10 contacts of tiltless around 1100 (I don't think I was guiltless at this time). I think it took about 15 minutes.
