top 5 NON NORTH AMERICA OR EUROPE players
top 5 NON NORTH AMERICA OR EUROPE players
What do you think the top players from outside the biggest footbag places in the world are? Here is my top 5...
1. Johnny Murphy
2. Ken Somolinos
3. Dan Ednie
4. Phil Morrison
5. Liam Johnstone
Didn't put myself in because that's too hard. Also left out Lynton because I'm not sure if he plays or not.

Jorden Marson - I play footbag with him every week. He hit ATW last week. Definitly worthy of being in the top 5. He looks just like Adam Mcfee so he's got talent written all over him.
Zach - no I'm happy if you don't put me in your list. I was just interested in peoples perception of the top players outside of the big footbag regions.

Honestly, this is such a hard question to answer, mostly because I don`t think there is anybody who has travelled enough to have formed accurate impressions of the various countries` best players.
There is a lot of skill in Japan that the rest of the world hasn`t seen... but after worlds that will change some. Personally, I like to think that I`ve seen most of the Japanese and New Zealand scenes, and even so I don`t know how good Phil Morrison really is. Most Kiwis I talked to put him at #3 in NZ. I also haven`t seen enough of Jeremy`s game (and only on video) to really comment, and I`ve only played a little bit with Ednie.
I really think it is near impossible to answer this question unless you have shredded with at least 80% of the Australian, Kiwi, and Japanese scenes, and to my knowledge nobody is even close to having done that.
All that said, I would be very surprised if at the end of the day Johnny Murphy and myself didn`t top that list. But give Takumi another year or two, and he could challenge for one of the top 3 spots. Jeremy looks good on video, but I have no idea about consistency. Liam is the 2nd best Oceania player I`ve played with, but I`ve only had very limited playing time with Shrednie. Another name that hasn`t been mentioned is Kenzo Ogawa. Most Japanese consider him and Henmo (takatsugu Mihara) to be tied as the current best in Japan, with Takumi a rapidly approaching #2. Speaking of rapidly approaching #2, I`ll be back in 10 minutes.

Yeah thats a good point Ken.
I kick with Dan about 2 times a week, and let me say he is really going off!
But i guess i actually needed to see oothers in real life to really judge them, but in terms of videos ive seen and all, that was my decision.
How many major non european / north american countries are there anyways? i can only thin kof japan australia new zealand and that all....

I don't really care for lists, but I love the bounce in Johnny, Jeremy, and Liam's games. The two vids that Liam had a while back (Palmy session?) got a LOT of play time at my house.

too tough
I don't know where these players come from, they just show up on my screen
&
I don't know who they are they just do good tricks.
Who's this Liam guy?
What?
How about who is the most depressed footbag player? Happiest?
Uggliest?
Sexiest?
Youngest for their skill?
Best ankle crank
Tallest?
Best for how fat they are.
I've got more.
I would definately say that
the best is
1). That guy who's really good.
2). and the others guys too
It should be a Brazilian Ju Jitsu Master
Not enough Equator players if you ask me.

Actually Dan Ednie isn't known for hitting big moves, he is known for his super consistancy and his great style. However, recently he is hitting big tricks midrun such as symp flurry , janiwalker , scorpion x 2 , lotus.
I rate him very high because he has alot of variety: in runs he does:
stepping both sides
pixie set both sides
fairy set both sides
atomic set both sides
quantum set both sides
barragin set both sides
symp barraging set osmetimes
nuclear set occasionally
duckings
spinnings alot
siwlrs
whirls+double dex great on both sides
drifters
In other words, he can do anything now.

Yes, actually i forgot about that.
Dan ednie does surging sets too, he hits bigwalk midun on lots of occasions these days. EVen surging osis and stuff. He can hit it almost on command, and i think venom will come soon.
he can also atomic gyro, and stepping ducking/pixie ducking/fairyducking/atomic ducking.
