well I wanted to hit 60 unique but haven't come close to 43 again so here goes:
rip>side>blur>smear>smudge>dim>whirl>drfiter>whirl>drifter>dive clip>weave clip>step clip>duckclip>dive clip>weave clip>step clip>duck clip>duck pdx mirage>duck mirage>pixie clip>duck pdx mirage>pixie clip>zulu clip>zulu clip>spin clip>spin butter>gyro clip>spin clip>spin butter>gyro clip>duck butter>duck butter>dlo>butter>pdx mirage>symp mirage>pixie ss mirage>butter>pdx mirage>symp mirage>osis>pdx ilusion>osis(dropped)
hope to reach 60 one day....
I'm glad people have liked the vid we put out...I was afraid I was guna be called out for not hitting many 5s. I like to think that the lack of 5 training has made room for more genuine links and the dreaded shuffle! This summer when I start kicking alone I'll get back into the big add stuff, there are just so many styleee 3s and 4s to keep me buisy for now.

Great session today and my boss isn't at work so I actualy get to write about it. Today was the first day I Shredded in about 2 weeks. Don't get me wrong I've had about 12 footbag sessions just not shred. I don't think enough people distinguish the 2.
So my main motiovation these past few weeks has been Mr. Schnider and his philosophy. I pmed him once asking him if hes every hit a six add and he said that most of the stuff he works on now is 2 or 3 adds. Maraxus also likes to tell me I need to throw more big moves and that convinced my rebelious side to stay away from 5adds for a while  Sorry Arron. I thought about all the style hack-like moves I've been neglecting and got to work.
Drilled:
toe no plant cross body rakes
osis>far cross body rake
osis>same x body rake (carol style)
whirling/drifting xbr
spinning/gyro xbr
weaving/zulu xbr

pdx miraging/illusioning inside
gyro miraging inside
gyro guay
ducking miraging inside
ducking guay
osis>reverse wrap
pdx mirageing inside>wrap

clip>ss spinning outside (like a dragon but with the spin to the outside set)
ducking spining outside
spinning/gyro so
pixie/steping so
butterfly so (like waxpin but caught on the outside not toe)
so>drifter

In other words take 3 fairly unused components(rakes, insides, spinning outside) and mix it up with basic sets. When I was feeling comfortable I was linking things like
spining spinning outside>pdx illusioning inside>x body rake
gyro guay> butterflying spinning outside
And lots of the components mixed up with bops in between. It was 2 weeks very well spent and now I have a new(but still unconsistent) arsenal to throw, even when I'm realy tired or sore.
But today I did some shred! Hit a 5>5>5 for the first time in a while, although it was the uber standard pheonix>blurry whirl>ps whirl. Hit blender>blender and dyno>dyno, torque>pdx whirl>rpt, reaper, a fairy and some good atomics, double pickup bsos and far swirl bsos, blurrier a couple times and some other random stuff that made me feel like a shredder again.

Thanks if you made it threw all that. My best bud James doesn't seem to be into footbag or hangin' with me anymore so my footbag emotions may be coming out here more (scarry). If you spend a day working non shred moves you won't regret it. I'm moving to SF in 5 days so I plan on getting torch and tu(and sunil while hes still in town) throwing down.

Cool stuff Nate! Stylie!

By spinning outisde you mean regullar spinning outside (set > (back) SPIN > same/op outside)? Or this little dragon thing, called Drag, where you catch bag on dragon and then twist your body and move leg with bag on it to ragullar outisde stall position, and then set it from there?

I'm confused ...

hm, weird. i was just working on all that outside jazz as well. i exspecially like using insides into symp whirls i.e : stepping far guay>symp whirl. maybe you should try that. we can have an inside battle at funtastiks lol.

anyway, good stuff. good 5>5>5. peace.

mmmmmmm that a made me smile big time!!!!

Pawel, I was talking about the dragon style move. I'm not flexible enough yet to hold it in the dragon position and set it on that side of my body, so I spin it out, like you described. Hope to get clarification at Funtastik from the dragon master about if what I'm doing classifies as a dragon.
blah... reread your post and yes drag.

Thanks david. Inside battle to the death!

haha nice find Eric. Ahhh the memories of the early days.

So I'm livin with the family in fremont california (about 20 miles from SF) right now. i've been having daily sessions because the weather is nice and I can't drink b4 11pm out here as opposed in college where anything after noon is all good.
So I've got about 3 weeks to skool for the NW jam, and I wanna kick ass. I've been schoolin single leg double dexes, whirling swirls and quantum. I love when new components start feeling comfortable. Its also nice to kick alone with no one watching. Definatly an important time in a freestylers career. The main part of my career has been spent public shredding, witch is great for run length and consistancy, but bad for epicness.
Ohhh yeah I was super stoked with my unique dexless string. The first day I saw the comp I wrote that combo down, and 2 days later I tried it and after less than a dozen attempts hit it. Not sure if I have a shot at any other catigory. ohh yeah I'll get the clipper string b4 too long. I hope lon doesn't start posting there  To quote Arron Orton, I'm the 3 add master, and I like it that way.

Soooooooooooo,
Tomorrow I go to SF to kick with Torch. I'll be posting all the crazieness that goes down then.
I've been streching alot lately and I've been on the wagon for about 3 days now, witch will likely be over tomorrow. but I'm feeling great. I haven't kicked with the Portland crew in forever, because James doesn't like footbag anymore, so when I show up in July I wanna rock out. Shuffle has been feeling realy good lately. I hit blur>double switch over bsos today, drifter>ripwalk>ripwalk>rpt, and sidewalk>symp whirl>rev swirl bsos today. yeah rev swirls are feeling alot better, definatly some Maraxus insparation there. yeah I'll have lots to post tomorrow so till then...

As far as I'm concerned he(James Erickson) did. The last time we kicked together he gave me this story about he doesn't think about footbag anymore and never watchs videos. He says hes to buisy with his new job and all, but the last time I saw him at his place he was playing video games?? Then the last 2 days I was in Eugene he wouldn't even answer his phone. So yes I assume hes done for a while, we'll see if he shows up for the portland jam but hes is realy good at making excuses why not to go to footbag tournaments. The only reason he made it to CSS6 is cause I bought his damn ticket. Everything else he just convinces himself hes to buisy and then sits around and drinks. I hope all this trash talking gets him pissed and motivated to play, but he still has an unopened pm I sent him weeks ago so I doubt he checks this sight anymore. I still remeber when he would say "I can't believe how people just stop playing, I'll play until my body is broken." That dude is a psychiatrists dream patient.
4 hours till torch session!!!! :D :D :D
