NorthWest Fest Portland Freestyle Jam July 16th-17th

Hey all,
Just lettin' everyone know the Sole Purpose posse is putting on a jam in Portland OR. July 16th and 17th. Some names confirmed for attendance will be Peter Irish, Lon Smith, Jim Penske, Jane Jones, Daryl Genz, as well as the Seattle, Eugene, and Olympia scenes. There will even be a few surprise guest freestylers. It should be fun. Both days will be in Portland OR., though only for part of Saturday some of the names I just mentioned will be occupied elsewhere doing some demo work for John Stalberger (Mr. Hacky Sack). Saturday night there will be a party at Noah Jay-Bonn's house. Sunday will be an all out shred down as well. We are putting people up at our cribs, as well as recommending a really nice super located hostel in SE Portland OR, inbetween Noah's and my house. Hope you all can make it, should be fun! I will be providing many more details very soon, but initially wanted to let everyone know. Hope to see you here!

Just giving an update. Scott Bevier (Flash) and Jorden Moir (Destroyer) are now confirmed as well for the jam. Should be two days of off the hook shred! More to come.

Looks like you worked your quandry out pretty well there. I have some shitnay to talk to you about at Oly jam, assuming you're still making that.

Hey,
If you (anyone) come out, I highly recommend spending more then the weekend here. Scott, Pete, and some of the others are coming out early, so more shredding and kick it time will be happening. Portland is a great place to chill out, lots to see and do. I would like to see you come out Brad, as well as Allan and Dylan, which I think will make it anyway. Justin and Ricky will probably be there as well. Anyway, I will keep everyone posted on any new details as they occur.

Hey,
We have established the location of the jam, it will be at Powell Park, at the cross street of Powell and 26th. This is a very located place, and very visable. On Saturday, we are going to kick the jam off earlier, probably around 11am. On Sunday, a bit later, around 1pm.

If you need housing accommodations, Noah and I are putting people up. I hope to see you all out there!

I'm there. I know Ty is coming with me for sure. Jere nor Ben can make it. I'm not sure about Kevin but I know he'd want to go. Just a ? if he can. Sam's already said he's coming earlier on this thread. I think Seth can make it too. So 4 of us. Red, you have some space open still?

Brad Nelson and Matt Emmings are coming too. Glad to hear the Montana crew is going to be representing! Evan, I think Noah still has some room, he can definitely put you up. Keep in touch though. I will keep everyone up to date on any new development!
