Thanks Jeremy.

I had next session today. It wasn't too good. I hadn't too much power.

I was practicing some tricks: Grifters, Torques, flip Barfly.

Feel some great improvement on Grifters. Hit them to run many times. No luck on doing it midstring. Hit Paradox Grifter many times.

I expected some better results with my flip Barfly... It feels like it is still in the same place. I don't feel improvement. Hit them to run many times, but some serious problems with hitin' them midstring. I Have to work on them more some day.

I can notice some nice progess on Torques. It's really noticable. I'm hitin my right side Torque much more frequently now. Hit Torque > Butterfly - the first time I've hit something out of Torque.

Highlights from this session are weak. I'll post some, though they aren't anything special for me:
 Run with Smear BS + Dimwalk BS + Ripwalk
 Run with Spinning Clipper BS + Smear + Ripwalk
 Run started with Grifter and with Ducking Butterfly in it
 Run with Barfly + Ducking Butterfly BS
 A fews runs with Barfly BS
 I've hit Spanishfly for 2nd time, and it was 2nd try on todays session ... two two's and one five = 225 = 15 * 15... one and five (the first time I've hit Spanishfly) and 1 and 5 (the 2nd time I've hit Spanisfly)... hmmm why I'm writing this nonesenses? Don't ask me :P

Hip hurts.

the 29th of June, 2005

BOP session.

No cons. records.

Did two over 40 contacts BOP runs. In one of them I hit Ripwalk, just don't know why. It was naturall after Butterfly :P

Stretching after.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the 30th of June, 2005

Only BOP shred too. Sun was shining and it was really hot. Played without shirt. Sun burned a bit.

Couldn't go for long. Just don't know why. The longest string was only 14 contacts (not counting consecutives).

Beat my Osis record. Now it's 29 (almost equal with my B-fly record).

Couldn't beat B-flies records. The best results for today was 26.

Hittin Osis - Pdx Mirage - Butterfly Drill much more frequently.

I worry that if I'll do some reall shred I'll hurt my hip.

Tomorrow I want to play two sessions. But I don't know if I'll afford it. I have to help my father with some work.

I'm eating a lot these days.

Had an averrage session today. It was 2 hours 33 minutes.

Tomorrow in my city is big show, where many bands play there concerts. It's realized by polish public TV, and it's something like official summer opening. It's on beac, next to my spot. So today some bands were playing their samples. I don't like music that these band played so it didn't matter.

IAfter warm-up I worked on my spins a little bit. Hit some combo with 4 strong side spinning clipper. Two were in a row. Then worked on Spinning Pdx Mirages and Gyro Moves.

The I were doing some random combos.. I don't remember nothing special. Some Barflies midstring and BSOS and other stuf. My Stepping worked quite good (for me) today. I started to hiting Stepping Legovers midstring. It will make my variety better, I think. Some Pixie moves bsos were hit too. And I don't remember much more.

Then I worked on my Barflies. I feel some improvement, but I would like it to be greater. I was schooling my Superflies too. Hit a few to hand catch.

New move for today is
 Dolomite

Funy thing happenend at end of the session. I wanted to hit one more Superfly before I stop shredin' so I started to tryin'. I couldn't hit it... There were so many attempts. And then I almost gave up. I did some Butterflies. Then I did Ducking Clipper > Ducking Clipper, just for relax... and while doing 2nd Ducking Clipper i just thought that I'll hit Superfly out of it... and I did it without too much effort. Cool :P Teah.. I know.. it's boring story... :P

I'm going to do two trainings tomorrow. One BOP Shred in the morning, and then I'm going to go to my spot and play during this TV show. There will be many people so it's greate opportunity to promote footbag.

To all polish players: if you can, watch this show and pay attention if I don't shred somewhere in the background! It would be cool if someone would see me :P

I'm after todays morning session. No records. Butterflies best result = 28, Osis' best result = 22. Legs - weak.

Tour de France 2005 started... Lance Armstrong is ridding for his 7th win. GO Lance! I'll try to post some quote by Lance every day. They are priceless and gorgeous. Quote for today is:

"Anything is possible. You can be told that you have a 90-percent chance or a 50-percent chance or a
1-percent chance, but you have to believe, and you have to fight."

Lance proved it, and is still proving it with his life. This is the strongest man on the world.

He did things that noone belived. He did things that people thought as impossible. He survived the cancer, and did thing that nobody did...
By hard, superhuman trainig he reached organisms efficiency that anybody dreamed about, even scientists...

He is my idol. He is a model for everyone of us... We should take example from Lance...

I didn't shred yesterday in evening... There were so many people! So many that there were ANY place to shred! Fuck! How it's possible! Any small place to shred... I have more space in my room when I shred in winter here. I couldn't see my legs in the crowd! On my spot were some beer-gardens (don't know how you call it it english).
I meet some friends and drank some beer with them. Some talks, etc. Then I saw off two girls, and come back to home 30 minutes after midnight... I didn't eat a supper, and I didn't sleep much and well.

So.. I didn't have morning training today. But in the evening I went for session. Blah! The spot was so dirty after yesterday! Everywhere were fag ends and sand, and some glass, and smudges after some drinks...
Anyway... I didn't do well today. Though I had a lot explosive energy in my muscles, I hadn't too much endurance (I think it's because of not sleeping well and not eating well and drinking the right amount of liquids during the whole day). I was tired after a few contacts... I was practising mainly single tricks. Runs were really, really short. Mostly below 10 contacts...
But I used the explosive power. What else had I to do? Hit Dolomite on first todays try. Hit Superfly to a handcatch 4 times in a row (consistency on it is getting better).

Hit 3 new tricks:
 Blackula
 Zoid Paradox Mirage
 Pogo Paradox Illusion

Hit Pogo Paradox Mirage to a short run too.

Still can't hit any Symp. Double Downs on left side :( I wan't all of them both sides!

Great consistency on Barflies. Could hit even the flipside one with almost every try.

I think that tomorrow I'm going to the beach. It's going to be hot...

Lance is in great shape! He did excellent ride yesterday! Was second on the individual time trial. I think that he could win, but he didn't want. He don't like to ride in the yellow yersey (race leader yersey) from the 1st stage. He lost with 1,96 second with Zabriskie. But the most important thing is that he defeat his most dangerous rivals. The nearest to him is Vinokurov, he has about 50 seconds loss to Armstrong. Lance outdistanced Jan Ulrich, thought Ulrich started his ride 1 minute before Lance... It was knock-down ...
Today it was flat stage for sprinters. Such stages doesn't matter in the general classification on great tours like Tour de France.
I think that Lance rides for his 7th Tour de France title... I'm almost sure about it...
Mountains start on 9th stage, I think.

Lance's quote, that I chose for today:

"I believed in belief, for its own shining sake. To believe in the face of utter hopelessness, every article of evidence to the contrary, to ignore apparent catastrophe-what other choice was there? We do it every day, I realized. We are so much stronger than we imagine, and belief is one of the most valiant and long-lived human characteristics. To believe, when all along we humans know that nothing can cure the briefness of this life, that there is no remedy for our basic mortality, that is a form of bravery."

Props on everything, especially being into the tour de france! I watch it every day, and i am always cheering for lance. He is a great person. I LOVE the mountain stages so much. Lance dominates them. Jan Ulrich is a great rider, though i dont think he stands a chance against Lance

Thanks Henry for paying a visit in my blog! Yeah ... I agree Ulrich can't compete with Armstrong anymore... Janis more weak with every year, I think.

Had ans session today. It was 3 hours and 10 minutes long.
Didn't hit anything special. I don't know why, but I' losing consistency with every next session. Had more power today, than yesterday... And todayI was able to do a little bit longer strings (over 10 contacts), but.... fuck it! I couldn't do 10 consecutive Butterflies or even 6 Osis'! Man? What's up? What's it going on?

The only highlights from today are:
 Run: Paradon BSOS + Flipside Ducking & Diving Clipper + Symp. Whirl
 Symp. Whirl BSOS
 Run: Flail + DLO + Atomsmasher + Ripwalk bs + Stepping Legover + Symp. Whirl + Barfly + Blender

Couldn't hit new trick, that I wanted to do...

I think that today will be next session(s)...

Forecast aren't too good for next days...

Lance's quote for today:

No shred today. I needed some rest, my muscles were really sore...

Todays stage on Le Tour de France were a team time-trial (TTT). Lance's team (US Postal) won it in last two years, so I expected that Lance's team (The Discovery Chanel Team (DSC)) will win it. But when the cyclers were doing their work, I was a bit woried. On the first chrono point DSC were losing 15 seconds to CSC team, and had the same time that T-Mobile Team had... On the 2nd chrono point DSC were 1,57 seoncds ahead T-Mobile and were losing 6 seconds to CSC... On the last chrono point (6 kms before finish) they were fewteen seconds ahead T-Mobile, and few seoncds ahead CSC... I was affraid that they will lost with CSC... But CSC was unlucky... especially Dave Zabrisky (he was race leader before this stage... 2 seoncds ahead Lance).. he crashed on the penultimate kilometre... CSC lost with DSC by 2 seconds, and Zabrisky finished 1''26 after his team, so in efect he lost the yellow yersey. Now Lance has the yellow yersey ;] The second in generall classification is Hincapie - Armstrong's team-mate. And Armstrong has adventage over his rivals that is over an minute... I think that Lace will be ridding in the yellow yersey to the end of the race, and will win Le Tour 7th time straight...

Lance's quote for today:
They say that once you win the Tour, you've done it all in cycling. If I thought that way, I would never have won it for a second time.

Think about it...

Had some shreds yesterday and today.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wednesday, the 6th of July, 2005

I had only the training in the morning. I planed to have two sessions, but it started to rain in the evening. The mornings session was 1,5 hour long. No records

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thursday, the 7th of July, 2005

First session was in the morning. 1,5 hour long. No records. Good controll and repeatability on most of the drills.

Second session started at 6:10 pm. B-boys were training on the spot. An average session. Hit soem nic runs, but I was missing easy tricks - like just a butterfly or pdx mirage - too. Not good. I thought that BOP's are strong side of my game for some time... Get upset few times, because of dropping on bail after nice link/trick.
One of the dancers, that I know well, asked me if I can show him some hard trick. I said: Sure. And hit high Superfly without too much effort. Just like a cake, straight to my hand. Felt cool...

New trick:
 Shaft

Now I have hit all 4 variations of Symp. Double Down on right side. Started to learnng Superfly on flipside. I see the light in the tunel. Can complete all the dexes cleanly, but can't get close to delay. Some time is needed for this one.

This session was almost 3 hours long. So I played 4,5 hours today. Legs feel tired.

I plan one session for tomorrow.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Almost nothing change in TdF. Lance still leads. Todays stage was bad. It was raining. Many riders crashed on the last corner. A. Vinokurow retrieve a few seconds to Armstrong.

Quote for today:

When I was sick, I didn't want to die. When I race I don't want to lose. Dying and losing, it's the same thing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to shred tomorro! But the forecasts are bad! Fu***ng weatber!

Some next shred today.

I was shreding for 2 hours 30 minutes. Good session. Well overworked time with satisfyting efects.
I wasn't doing too much runs. I was only drilling and striving for perfection with single tricks.
I worked on Spins, Stepping sets, Duckings, Double Downs, Grifters, DLO's.

I feel some progress on all of them.

New links/drills:
 Blur > Paradon > Blur > Paradon > Run > Blender - first time hit something after BAP drill. The Blender at the end was funny. Set was just uncontrolled and I thought that I will miss it, but i completed trick, and saw the bag in the air... I just did hand-catch. Harm that I didn't keep going...
 Osis > Spinning Clipper [rpt] - nice drill for zooms ;] And for Spining of course ;]
 Paradox Double Legover midstring

New tricks:
 Spinning Ducking Osis
 Stepping ss Whirl - On first try today. Wanted to hit it some time ago, but haven't... I hit it straight after practising Stepping ss Clipper. It's funny. Stepping and Whirl are tricks that I don't want see more, because most players do too much of them, but Stepping ss Whirl is one of my favourite tricks, and I really like watch when somebody does it midstring. ?It's a bit funny - concept that I don't like + another concept that I don't like = something that I really like ;]

It was nice feeling session. I thin tomorrow will be next one.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Le Tour de France = Ok. Stage ended with peloton finish McEwen won todays stage. He's my favourite sprinter, I think. No important changes in general classification. Some mountains tomorrow!

No one automatically gives you respect just because you show up. You have to earn it.

Matt: I didn't school enough to place good... but I schooled enought to have great fun!

The 9th of July, 2005

Had some session. It was weak. I didn't play too long... only 1:50... More would get me frustrated... althought I had good warmup. I hit about 120 kontacts run. Not guiltless at all. First I hit about 90 contacts of different tiltless drills, and then about 30 contacts of BOP drills. Good.

Other stuff wasn't working good. I couldn't hit Paradon > Pdx Mirage [rpt]... actually I hit it ... but it was a struggle...

Worked on Drifters and Pixie sets...

I think some session will happen today. The last one before Euros.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TdF: 8th was a hard stage. On the last climb Lance was isolated.. withouth any team-mate. Vinokurov, Valverde, Moureo (sp?) were attacking, but Armstrong was strong enough to chase... He is strong, but is his team strong enough? Actually, I think, yes... I suppose it was some Discovery tactic... We'll see today...

Pawel! Are you still doing those BOP trainings in the morning? It seems like a good idea to me. Not very time- and energy-consuming, but very good for footbag-feeling. Complemented with a hardcore session in the evening... You've convinced me into starting to do BOP sessions too!

Do you feel that these sessions are fruitful for your other shred? From your most recent posts it seemed your shred was really coming off!

PS. What's wrong with Polish cycling? It seems few guys make it to the international level, it's a pity... (I remember the MROZ team from a couple of years ago and... like... Jacek Mickiewicz (sp?) or what's his name???)

Lance won Tour de France 7th time in a row...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm back at home after one month. I was on Euros, and then in Warsaw.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Euros were a great time! I didn't do well in competition, but it wasn't the most important thing!

I met so many people.

I'm glad I met Tom Mosher, Matt Cross, Aaron Shephard, Dyaln Fry, Ian from Australia, Felix, Steve G., Ales, Honza, Ali, Baptist, Renato Zulli, Viktor Kirchner, Alexander Skocki, Charles, Serge, Kolo, TMS and everyone I forgot about... Man ... sorry.. there were so many new people that I can't remember even half of them!...

Shreding in Warsaw, with all players from there, for 3 weeks were really good!. I enjoyed this time very well...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will post some stories, new stuff, etc. with next post... It's just too much to write everything in one post.

Wim! Why I didn't see your post! Sorry. I'm answering it now!

I didn't make this BOP morning sessions since I went for Euros. Then I went in Warsaw, away from home. But I'm going to start them again. They make shred feel really good. I have longer runs because of them. They moved my consistency to next level, and I suppose that they will move it a few levels more...

I think that Polish cycling is in the progress of development. We have our Tour de Pologne stage race that is included into the UCI Pro Tour. We don't have any team in UCI Pro Tour, but at least two polish cyclist in pro tour teams. Sylwester Szmyd is the teamember of Lampre-Caffita and Dariusz Baranowski is in Liberty Seguros-Wurth Team. Both of them were on the track of Giro d'Italia this year.
We have one strong team too. It's Intel Action team with Cezary Zamana and others. I think that when Intel will give them more money, and they will earn some, and will be able to buy some good riders they will made it to Pro Tour.
We have some multiple races here in Poland too.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SOME SHRED REPORT

I was playing today, after 6 days break. The break was due to really bad weather.

It was 2 hour session. My first session playing to my camcorder... I got some stuff on tape.

I hit:
 Pdx Grifter > some run - first time something after pdx grifter
 BAP > run again
 Atomsmasher > Atomsmasher > run - first time hit Atomsmasher b2b...
 nothing else. But I have some runs on tape.

I've got some clips that I'll use in my first vid. The forecasts are really good for next days, so I will tape some stuff on a few next session, and will start some editing. I chose a song, and have an idea for movie. I hope that I'll be able to put it into effect.

Later,
Pawel

Wim! Why I didn't see your post!
Probably because of forum weirdness. Don't worry :)

Hmm sorry, I knew I was forgetting some riders, like the Zamana kid! I didn't know there was a Pro Tour race in Poland. Props on that! :)

About shred: Yeah I did a BOP session too a few days ago due to blisters on my foot that kept me from shredding at full strength. I didn't manage to surpass 19 contacts, but still it felt like a nice thing to do.

Props on the idea Pawel!
