what would you ask for

Post by Tsiangkun »

So I have this guy who is organizing sideshows, and he wants to sponsor me and some local poppers to do some performance.

I asked for six pairs of shoes, three bags, an endless supply of fiji water, shirts, shorts, and travel costs.

Am I missing anything ?

How much cash is standard for a performance, does $200 sound about right ?

Maybe I should ask for a box of freedom bags to give away too.

If you're gonna try to get paid in tips, you need to wear one of those g-strings that strippers wear. Sure, it'd be pretty disgusting, but I'd pity the fool who'd try to stick a buck in there while you're hopping around with a footbag. If they don't come for the footbag, they'll come for the g-string (you'll ge the ladies?).

Funny you should say that. The first thing I said, in my smart ass voice was "Ya know I'm not really in this for the money, I'm all about the hotel room and a line of groupies going out the door. "

P--"That can be arranged, but your gonna catch some diseases"

I thought it was funny.

Shoes only last about three months or so . . . I figure six pair would be a year supply with some spares.

I doubt the event will ever get off the ground, but I'm getting my wish list together just in case.

if these people have money you should ask for about 150 - 300$ per night... you are doing 3 nights? if you do a real show, that is. i'd recommend that you ask for money on a basis of how many days you work...
200 for 3 days is very little. you might earn that doing cleaning for three days

and what do you need 6 pairs of shoes for? rather get money and you can live out your shoe fetish more splendid and with more variety.

good luck!
