The closer!

Post by Jamo »

Ive just stictched my very first 4 panel bag. Looking very much like a suede juggling ball i had no troubles up until it came to the closing stitch. So i put in loads of loose stitches, turn it rightside out, filled it then pulled em tight. But it keeps coming undone and it wasnt stitched properly.
How do you guys do it? How do you get the thread back inside the bag and how do you secure it?
Thanks

Just like you said, put in the loose stitches, pull it right way out, fill, then pull tighter than you want, tie the thread and ease the knot between the panels, theres a good picture somewhere that shows it, I'll edit it in when I find it.
