Very very sick!

The delicate little reverse swirl tossed in there is so choice. It's in a dramatic move sandwich and it adds so much spice to the medely.

The second combo is so stylish too, super props.

If i may suggest a move for august I'd say make it a single leg double dex. I'm sure Richie has the final say, I mean you have the final say, hahahaha, but barfly and varients would be a good addition IMO.
Peace!

How about a triple?

I hit Triage super clean today!

Anyway, I haven't posted online forever due to my internet being down and I am going to make up for it by writing a long ass post about what I've been working on. First off, torque month somehow dissipeared. I think it was due to my trip to Alaska because that was about the changing point this last month in which I stopped doing torques all together. Now I'm mad, but I made up for it by hitting alot of sick shit recently.

First off last weekend was crazy. Chad, Pinkus, and Sam came down to shred with me, Rich, and Jason. It turned out to be a total of three sick sessions, and just an insane amount of extreme links and nasty moves. Everyone was on, but mostly, mostly, Abshire was on. He just destroyed everyone with how much his game went in one weekend.

If I remember correctly, he pulled out Flurry > Smog > Paradon Swirl with ease, Matador > Locomotion > Barroque > Paradox Blender, and although I hadn't been in all the circles that he was kicking in, I could tell by the sound of the shredder's responses and hands being slapped, that he did even more. Props to him.

Jay and Chad were ofcourse, insane, and were pulling off nasty fearlesss stuff that I just had been longing to see. Jason hit something like the following: Blurry Whirl > Blurry Drifter > Blurry Whirl > Fog > Pixie Paradon, to start a run, and a sick strong tripless run with something like 7 Fives, P-Torque > Food, and insane tripless links in it.
Chad managed to show me how Whirr, Surreal, and Tomahawk > Blurry Whirl BSOS were all easy as shit. I wish I would have taped more but I too was also shredding.

Chris and Sam were also both surprising. Chris is linking hard ass clipper combinations along with his toe stuff now and it looks sick. He hit something like Bedwetter > Pixie SS Whirl > PS Egg to start a run. Paradox whirls and spinning whirls were here and there, and he started a run with pixie ducking symposium eggbeater  . Not to mention some scary attempts at Blue Widow and Barfly Swirl.
Sam started the days off with alot of strong tiltless until I chirped in that he should push harder. Thus he went on to hit some of the nastiest swirl combinations I had ever see along with tripless interventions. Sick.

Okay, well that was last weekend, and since then, I only got to shred this weekend with Richy. Jay was out of town, and I was in the field training all week so I never had the opportunity to get with the bag. Being a Marine and a footbagger is tough, I want to play but mostly, I don't get the opportunity...

None-the-less, I still hit some sick shit.

New Moves/Combos:

Triage
Fairy Gyro Mirage
Spinning Butterflying X-Body Toe Stall
Double Spinning Osis alot
Flip Alpine Legbeater
Whirring X-Body Toe Stall
Whirling SS Butterfly

Pixie Whirl > Gyro Whirl
Pheonix > Spike Hammer
Stepping SS Osis > Pdx Dlo Midrun
Tomahawk > Blur
Spinning Ducking Butterfly > Spinning Ducking Osis
Ripped Warrior > Tomahawk
Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Spinning Whirl
Pheonix > Diving Whirl

New Runs

Run with Pixie Ducking Osis and both Spinning Ducking Osis
Gyro Whirl BSOS with Spinning Whirl and Blurry Whirl in it
Run with Smog, Haze, and good tripless
Drifter > Ripwalk BSOS (Hard for me)
Fun run with Fairy SS Mirage, Blurry X-Body Toe, Spinning Butterfly X-Body Toe, and Double Blender!
Whirr BSOS

Attempts
Pheonix > Ripped Warrior > Surging Drop
Stepping SS Swivel off of foot

Surreal off of foot
Ripped Warrior > Stepping SS Osis > Blurry Drifter rolled off
Furious sets are comming in thanks to Richy

Alot of shit, but no torques :x . Thats okay though, they shall come, along with some sick fearless links because I can link almost any two fives I have, I just start dropping on that third. I need to start thinking what the fifth move will be instead of the third, that way, I'll clear it and move on.

Non-Footbag related I had a sick sick time last Friday night with my buddy from High School who lives down here now. It was his birthday bash and we had two kegs and a cooler of beer at the beach. Anyway, we had alot of people comming but luckily we didn't have the party going too strong when the police showed up and told us to get the alcohol out of there. Thus we changed the party to another place down the road and ended up having it at his Irish friends house. Yeah the Irish really know how to party, they REALLY know how to party. They were singing and laughing and DRINKING and damn they can drink. The girls put down more then me and I know how to drink alot, so I was quite impressed.

Other then that I've been trying to enjoy my weekends more and meet alot of girls. And its been working out quite nicely. So I'll update this more with news as it comes and hopefully someone will read this long ass post.[/b]

Ran Physical Fitness Test today, 3 Miles timed, max pullups, and max crunches. I did preformed average compared to my last score, but still did well.

Shredded while doing my laundry, thought it would be short, but ended up being two hours long. Worked Drifters, Bubbas, more complex runs, and dexlessness due to legs being hurt.

New Drills:

Toe Drifter > Drifter > Pdx Mirage > Repeat X3 Multiple times but couldn't surpass it.

Toe Drifter > Drifter > Gyro Mirage > Repeat

Ducking Clipper > Drifter > Drifter > Repeat

Drifter > Ripwalk BSOS

New Drifter record of 7

Hit a few relaxed 25+ Contact runs.

Very close to Bubba set but its difficult to perform perfect and have enough time for a second move.

Great training day for drifters overall.

Spent weekend at Sam's, saw Nate, Emily, Sam, Chris, Brian, and Chad.

Kicked at Psychodelic Ranch again, filmed, made movie with Nate.

Legs were hurting due to 15 Mile Hike Friday and hitting crazy shit Friday night.

Couldn't do 10 Unique tripless for Brian at midnight, no good.

Hit

-Whirring Stallberger (Whirrberger)
-Double switchover ending in outside
-Fairy Legover Stallberger
-Knee Stallberger
-Pixie Whirl > Vortex

Will put out video when I am satisfied with the music/shred ratio.

hey aaron. i just watched and downloaded your to the bone video. nice editing. i like ritchie and jason giving props before jason's section started. the video ended for me right after ritchies section started, so i don't know if my download didn't complete or what. i'm looking forward to footage of black jack, which i hear you have. mmmm... oh and if you ever want to do an all shape shifter video again, that would be fine by me.
thanks again for all your recent videos, they are among my favorites!

Andrew Grant, whoa! Hey, I'm glad you liked the videos, it sounds like your To The Bone one wasn't downloaded completely, it's still up at BlurryWorld so feel free to download the entire thing when you get a chance.

I did in fact get Blackjack footage this weekend (along with nate, big add, and myself) and there is plenty of it in my new video which I will be releasing as soon as possible, maybe... TODAY. So look forward to that because it may be my best video yet if I can sync the music/shred ratio better after compression. It seems like the raw uncompressed video is perfect, yet when I finalize, it fucks it up. Hmmm...

There will always be more Crook footage in the future, he's too good not to film, a special would be cool again, but we'll just have to see.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today I am kicking at Damon's. I need to film a sick 1, sick 3, AND sick 15 so wish me luck because thats quite a bit to accomplish with sore legs and more physical training tomarrow. I have certain ones all in mind but it will depend on the atmosphere on what is hit and what isn't.

Oh yeah, I hit spinning whirl > gyro blender last friday night, phasing set saturday for blackjack, and leaning osis is off my heal. If I can seal that last one, its off to gyro leaning like felix, yeah!

Last night was so dissipointing it was sick. First off, I couldn't hit three 5's that I wanted, I had so many that rolled off the third five that I thought it was some sick joke by God. Atleast some hard ass fearless combos are getting easier. I also couldn't hit my Sick 15, and I won't settle for anything less then a four add ratio for it. That was stupidity because I have done it before and I was at 13 three fucking times. :x

I did hit a sick 1 though.

Beyond all of that, I didn't put my video out because I cannot get the music/shred ratio to work after exporting. Using DivX encoder it would always, always, screw up the video after running it through, I'm mad as shit because I paid twenty bucks for the program and its not working as I want it to. I can get the music/shred to match using Adobe's built-in exporter, but then the quality is SHIT. So what do I do? ..........

Well after those three hours of intense footbag at Damon's, I thought my body was good after stretching, hydrating, and taking care of myself but then it happened. I cramped, I cramped so god damn bad that it felt like my bamstring was being serrated in two at both ends. The look on my face must have been obvious because both Damon and his wife looked at me like they totally understood. Thereafter I had trouble walking and trying to stretch the horrible muscle cramp out, because when I did, another cramp formed on my thigh. Chris Pinkus laughs at me for cramping because he never does, I'm envious of him :? .

I awoke this morning at 04:10 to get ready for work since Damon allowed me to stay at his place. The soreness in my leg was worse when I awoke, but I continued to stretch it out throughout the morning along with hydrating, drinking a protein drink, and taking a multivitamin. I guess all that was enough for my THIRD physical fitness test this month for me to score high enough to be placed first out of my company.

So that was my last twenty-four hours, and I'm hurt as shit right now from the run and footbag, stressed because I can just now go to sleep, and excited for the world of squad leader's course to come. Hopefully I learned the information required to take my world in the Marine Corps to another standard.

Legs are sore and back is sunburnt from session yesterday with Richy. It was his birthday, 34 and still busting, whoa. I had to hit good so I would have a sick 3 and sick 5 for competition.

I managed to hit them both.

I also hit the folowing:

Blurry Whirl > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Blurry Whirl to start a run
Blurry Whirl > Reverse Swirl > Paradox Blender > to start a run
Spinning ducking butterfly bsos
Blurry Whirl > Spinning Whirl > Stepping drop flipside  (need to repeat)
Mobius midrun
Spinning butterfly > marius (the marius was hilarious because I caught it on my sock so it was awesome)
Pixie Whirl > Paradox Whirl > Paradox Whirl > Blurry Whirl to start a run with gyro whirl also in it
Blurry Drifter > Paradox Torque > ducking drop
20+ Contact run, mostly 4 add spins and ducks

I want to catch Nate, he is so good.
