The Crab! NEW FOOTBAG TRICK

Post by Si_iS_High »

Hello Footbag world,

I would just like to announce a new footbag move that I have named The Crab.

Firstly I recommend your leg is completely warm, massaging both calves would be a good idea.

Start with the footbag stalled on your outside of your foot.
Then set it up
Spin about 90degrees
then catch it on the opposite foot on the outside
Stalled and completed

You have now performed The Crab.

Outside>spin[spin]>op outside[del][crab]

umm, you had better check, i think that move has been hit before, by a lot of people. thus you dont have the naming rights.

this is my 200th post by the way.

Yeah wow. 8O That sounds so hard. I didn't even think something like that would be possible. Props.

What other moves get the crab add? Maybe inside stall>op inside stall?

yeah i'm not the only one, i taught my new footbag apprentice so it is possible. Just keep practising and don't give up.

When I have time I may write up how the Crab add system works

For the record - Simon Hughes - the person who started this topic - knows too well that the move "the crab" is not something he invented and one can only presume he is taking the piss.

Dude, Simon, I hope you know that Jeremy was just fucking with you when he said that move sounds hard.

BTW thats not a special move, it's just a "BSOS outside stall."
It can't be a special move because it's only a set and a finishing stall (which technically, is the beginning of the next move), so it's only really one add (I think I did that right).

This ground breaker of a move deserves to be submitted to footbag.com's new move list. YOU COULD WIN A FOOTBAG!

haha. I love how people take the Term bsos, which means Both sides one string and make it into something like. i am so both sided. I am bsos. Oh this move starts and ends on outside stall, it is a bsos outside stall.

You can't steal a move from footbag.com and claim it as you own. That's like plagiarism or something.

no wonder hacky sack players feel intimidated by footbag players... one misinformed announcement and they are immediately laughed at. :(

hacky sack an footbag are the samething.

an no i think they are just teaching. i dont see this to be intimatading or any thing. its all in the way you take it an accept it. if you just take it as help an learn from it like i did then your learning an progressing. if you let it get to you then your just not understanding that this community is just helping in there own way. probley due to the wide misunderstanding of freestyle footbag an ""hacky sack"".

Just to clarify so no further time is wasted replying to this topic:

Simon Hughes is a footbag player from Christchruch New Zealand, he is strong guiltless and perfectly capable of busting 5's in runs. He also takes far too many drugs and has had a few too many bottles of cough medicine. Ie, this topic is a complete joke.

Sorry to ruin it Si :p
