Footjam 2005

Post by ebo »

edit (06-2008):
Since this was a very popular video, and planetfootbag doesn't host it
anymore, I would like to upload it again to make it accessible to everyone
who hasn't seen it yet.
If anyone has 431 megs of space and is willing to host it, please pm me...

Alright. It's finished. After many days of work, and some more days of
trying to upload it, the Footjam 2005 video is finally online.

Note: I had to split it up into 5 parts to be able to upload it, and I strongly
recommend you to download all the parts and watch them in a row - it is
one big video actually, and it's chronological. The 5 videos are not standalone videos.

Info:
~421MB
total playing time 42:16
MPG PAL Video CD standard.

Intro and Saturday Part 1 (10:49)
Dennis Schleussner's Yoyo routine and Kenny Shults (09:27)
Sunday Part 1 (07:15)
Sunday Players Party (07:59)
Monday (including Net Finals) and Outro (06:44)

All the footage is sideline footage, there is no competition footage at all (except for the
Net Finals). For some reason, I decided not to film the competition this time and save
all my tapes for shred+sidelines.

Big thanks to Jan Zimmermann for letting me host it at http://www.planetfootbag.ch!!

I put lots of work into this - comments are strongly encouraged! :)

ps: watch out for Eli's Footjam05 documentary - my video is just a taste of things to come!![/i]

Ian Pritchard in pt 1!

Australia Reprezent!

Cool first ep, man. I'm so glad that you've released it and not been a tight-arsed miser and asked everyone to buy the DVD. For that... YOU ARE A CHAMPION! I can see you've put a lot of work into this whole production and I look foreward to checking out all the different parts to this 'saga'.

But, could you please post a total running time of each section. I'm not sure if I downloaded all of the first part because it just cuts out at a weird moment.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

Thanks for this amazing gift to us all!!

It was a wonderful journey working my way through all 5 videos! :D

There were so many great moments in the videos!

I like the way all the different scenes are presented and the way the whole thing flows smoothly.

There was alot of talent representing there!!

Where were the Polish players when you were filming?

Andrew Grant was busting large. His answer was also one of the greatest things Ive ever heard, that was such an eloquent reply. He put so well the reasons footbag is so great.

I think I am slowly starting to come to the conclusion that I don't like beatboxing that much, I suppose that it's another cool thing to get good at, I just don't plan on getting good at it.

Vasek's stepping ducking was great, he was tossing some really cool combos.

I can't wait to see alot of these players in real life in like.. a week! :D

Thank you thank you thank you for making this movie ebo!

word, i have only worked my way through the first 3 vids, but so far i am fucking impressed!!!! it is bringing back such great great memories of footjam, and some i don't remember at all, like giving that drunken interview for example

does any one else find that zerg resembles sunil a bit? i think it's the fast legs and the arms. and possibly the skin tone

i'm gonna go watch the rest of them, but seriously, huge props, great editing, great flow, great work, and thanks for sharing!!!

That was such an inspirational circle there. The sun was setting, everybody
in the circle was eating his dinner, while watching the maestros
in action. It was such a peaceful atmosphere, and Kenny Shults
who was sitting next to me had his jaw dropped to the floor several
times... :)

I think that Zerge resembles more Yacine than Sunil... or I would say that he resembles A LOT Mr Merzouk.. but there is a bit of Sunil also..

Ebo, your video is so nice!! Huge thanx for this!!
