New players with Questions on Bags/shoes

Post by BrianP »

Hey, for any new players who are wondering about what kind of footbag to use or what kind of shoes to wear, www.worldfootbag.com has a deal where you get a pair of Rod lavers, a Mr. Sandman footbag, and a tricks of the trade video for $60 bucks. If you are a new player, the difference between a Mr. Sandman and a 32 panel Abshire or Carol is going to be incredibly minimal. If you look at the innumerable posts on this topic, you will find that most players of all levels really like Mr. Sandman, and that Rod Lavers are pretty much the best and cheapest of any shoes you can use. Plus you get the video, which is a sweet little bonus. But seriously, if you are new and don't have the equipment, having a decent bag and lavers is huge for hitting tricks. Peace and good shredding.

why hasnt anything like this post ever been stickied? it could be slightly more indepth (only slightly), but would stop a lot of the same thread over and over.

It's a sandmaster not a Mr. Sandman......unless it changed. That's how I got my Laver's.
