Yo,
Still on the wagon and been doing some yoga and ab workouts on "on demand". Feeling good feels good but shred hasn't been to incredibly off the hook. Maybe I'm just tired and drained from not eating like a gluton. I know I'll see results soon. If not its back to Mcdonalds, blunts, and no dexes. ahhh the good life.
Got a session lined up with Tsangsun tomorrow in oakland and a session/ 4 o' july party lined up with Ahren and Sunil on monday. Kickin with homies always makes me happy.

Contrary to linscotts popular (wishfull thinking) belief, I have not quit footbag. I still play all the time and would still be extremely bored of his tired ass style. Not going to talk a whoel lot aboot shred in this edition. I'm watching the daily show and drinking vodka, kalua and ice. If you make it all the way threw this bless your soul. It gets better twords the bottom, I think.
So the forth of july started for me at around 3pm when I took the BART (Bay area rapid transit) to good old San fran. When I got there I rang Ahren's door bell but no answer so I thought I'd explore the town a bit. I went to a cd store and bought a Joe Pass and George Benson cd for ten bucks. Very good stuff at a good price. Realizing I just saved some dough I headed straight to the 520, a BAR. I got a double rum and coke and a beer and talked to some ladies. I pretended I was a triple A ball player and they realy liked that
. Lieing is fun. I left the bar tender a good tip cause he was cool and didn't check my ID.
So I went to check to see if torch was back but he still didn't answer. I went to the store where he worked and picked up 22 ounce and asked for a brown bag. I guess people don't check IDs in Cali. Oregon sucks ass for that. So I go and sit on Torchs stoop and open my beer with my cd case (very tricky) and pretended I was a bum. It was suprisingly easy.
After about half of the 22 was gone Torch came down the stairs. he was there the whole time but didn't here the bell? wierd. At least I cought a fat buzz off of the mix up. So I went up and saw Tu again wich was nice and after about a hour we headed to the BEACH. We built a fire and played some batchi, frisby and guitar. Sitting next to a fire with friends is one of the best things in life. Eventualy the sand police came and took away our beer, no glass on the beach, bummer. About 20 min later the same dudes came back with flashlights and shined it on my homies hand and said "we thought we saw a roach." ????? In other words. "thanks for the beer we were hoping we could score some smoke from you to." Fucking PIGS. We left around midnight and went back to the pad and stayed up many hours reminising with the torch. HE FUCKING RULES! We played some chess and listened to music and at around 3 we busted out the OLD footage. Portland jam 95! Ahren was 15!!!! it was all unedited footage.
For all of you who have never seen pre 98 footage, things were different! There were no redemptions and circles didn't go in a circle!!!! Just random passes, like a hack circle. Ahren looks SO different when he was 15. Pete,rippin, Carol, Wolf and crew all looked the same. I learned alot of new names. Tim Kelly RULES!!!!!
We woke up late the next day and got some super dank SF food. We met up with Sunil at around 2 and went to the Mission to kick. SJ hit ducking eggbeater witch was sweet. The sesion was short. i felt good but Torch was still hung over. There were also some cute tenis players who kept distracting us. Hmmmm I'm definatly lossing motivation to write now.
Anyway I get home and find a PM from Ryan Thomas!!!!
Hes coming out west next week and stay at my pad!!!!!! FUCK YEAH. Hes gunna come to the Northwest jam with me!@!!!!!! SWEET!

Hit some bomb drills the last few days. The ones I'm the most proud of are:

I've figured out ddd just recently, with a little inspiration from tsaingtung. I may do a write up in the trick tip section soon. But seriously ddd feel easier than barflies for me now.
I also now have a fairy set on one side, and a superfly one one side!!!both of witch I'm super stoked about.
Ohhh yeah thanks to hen dog I hit legbeater>drifter>ducking pdx mirage>rpt witch was fun and also blender>gyro butter bsos.
I'm gettin to that point in my game where I got that "bounce" back, witch is so essential for moves with two jumps like blurry drifter...dejavoo

For some reason my body is becoming slightly lactose intolerant. When ever I eat my favorite cerial, Honey Bunches of Oats, I've been getting realy gassy. wierd! I used to go through a gallon of milk in 2 days and now a bowl of cerial Fs me all up.
Got a shred lined up with Tsaingtung tomorrow, a possible session wit torch and sunami on sunday, than tuesday Thomass comes to stay with me. THEN PORTLAND!! WOOOOOT. I hope to be at least half as good as david clavens by Funtastic

I was lucky enough to have a 5 day weekend this past week witch will be wrapping up shortly and wanted to say a few words aboot it.
LA- This was my first time in LA and it was much nicer and cleaner than I expected, I guess I was only in the "nice" neigborhoods but none the less my impression was good. Traffic wasn't bad and both the rides down and back were painless.
Sam- One very interesting dude. His style is as beutiful as videos show and his editing technique is superb. He gave me a big head about my guitar playing but that will shrunk down when I return to Eugene. I was glad I could help with the music for his promo that hopefuly you will all download. Just random e minor improvisation with plenty of mistakes. Sam liked it and I think it fits the vid well. So I official know Sam now witch is nice, definatly a great guy to have as a friend.
pinkus- this dude personality and shred are the exact same. Powerful, fast and on the toes!!! He was throwing down the shred as hard as the yager. So much energy in a small frame. I look forward to battling him one day! Much training to go, ha.
Orton- same old aaron. he shredded until his legs almost came off. I also got to learn how to use premere on his computer....watch his next video, I helped a bit.
Blackjack- Bryan is LA! He is so floaty when he shredds, you can't even here him land when he busts superfly. He had some cool spots to hang at and his photo album was classic. He denifatly rounds out the la trio very well, one cool dude!
shred- my game was feeling realy good over the weekend. I had several sessions I was proud of but most of all was a 100 contact run the ended PS whirl >handcatch> crowds of people cheering. thats right add another name to the century club!
Emily- Words cannot do justice to how amazing this chick is. Santa Cruz is very lucky to have her.
Thats aboot it. can't wait to do it again!

For any of you freestylers out there who don't like someones style PLEASE don't judge until you kick with someone in person. I never liked Chad's, sunil's and pinkus' styles b4 I kicked with them and now those three are some of my favorite players to watch in person and on video.
Also got to spend a day with thomass. Saw him hit crispy torque>ripstine! with a mobius later in the run. Ryan is SUCH a different person than he was a year ago. College has realy chilled him out. Sucks I didn't write about the week we spent together. Its all fogging over now but I know we had lots of fun.
Ryan Thomas and Blackjack are the only 2 people I know (besides the orginal Mr Schnieder) who can hit REAL ripsteins, as in not swirling swirl, though I've yet to see DC's in person.
Today I worked fairies, flurries, quantum, whirr, and pdx torques. My legs have been feeling so good lately its scarry.
I realy hate steven A smith, Andrew Grant, and people who don't use there blinkers.... just kidding!!! not using your blinkers isn't that bad.
So thursday I'm gunna go kick with Tsangtung and hopefully I'll have a weekend session with the SF crew and the lovely moxilla.
My brother is moving out so we now have a guest room in my pad so if anyone wants to visit the bay area you're more than welcome...except if you're name rhyms with handgoo pant!

BATTLE IN OAKLAND!!!
Took a trip around the bay today and had some good kicks with some homies. Emily was nice enuugh to come pick me up(thanks again!) than we hit up SF and hung out with Ahren a bit. Another good visit to torch's house; jazz, guitar, and books and lots of interesting talk. Getting out of the city was interesing at rush hour but it happened. No major traffic, I've been lucky with that lately. We finalya rived in Oakland for some battle. There was softbal, soccer, basketball and dice going down when we got there. YEAH oaktown!
We had some kickin tunes for this session and the busting was on. Torch was throwing lots of genuine lines. Ripped warrior >blur >legbeater >blurry whirl >ect. Emily was lookng smoth and her links were longer than I have seen recently. toe drifter, flip drfiter, whirls and I even caught her trieing some stepping. Cameron was doing the shifty set, half whirls and grabs. Lots O style stuff. plus the typical blurriers, fogs, and pixie doubledowns. I hit lots of new stuff like 2 6s in a run, and sealing up scoripions tail and ducking pdx dlo. I was stoked with tomahawk x2. The battle was close... most left bloodied...
Then torch and cam got some burritos while emily and I ate some some pizza. I don't think she liked the pizza cause she seemed upset with me the rest of the trip... Next time I'll go with peperoni We drove back and now I'm home stoked about the nice day.
Next on the agenda is a stanford session with S Barnes. YEAH. and the santa cruz crew... witch hopefuly will include Senor Grommit. Should be a blast to throw down with those cats again. Sepecialy if my legs keep feeling good...witch they will..positive thinking! Gunna go get sams preview song stuck in my head again.
