Yeah, this is kind of an old topic, but whatever.

My friend spits all the time and I just can't take it when we're shredding. Sometimes, we'll end up 50 meters from where we started, because I make the circle move every time someone spits. If we don't have enough room than I just make him step in it and smear it all over his shoe so that if the footbag lands there it won't get nasty.

Theres more germs on the ground and from everyone touching it then from the spit getting on the bag, But still it is quiet nasty if the bag landed in spit :S

Actually there are more germs in the human mouth than anything else. Chris, it is a big deal, go cut yourself and let me spit on it. Take pictures after a week and dont wash it, tell me how it looks and feels. So getting a bag spit on is very gross, and anyone spitting in or around the circle are disrespectful.

little do to with the topic, but interesting...
my english teacher last year read a study done about the most bacteria-ridden areas and objects, as opposed to what common thinking regarded. most people guess that porta-potties were the number one areas for germs and whatnot, however, its apparently the handles of shopping carts, which are used by hundreds of people everyday who sneeze into their hand (lending credence to the lack of cleanliness in the mouth) and put it back on the handle. also i dont think any supermarket thinks (or bothers) to clean the handles at all. i think number two was playground equiptment. you know those little kids.

but yeah. i spit when shredding...away from the circle. not usually a problem.

Well....I dont wanna be too discriminative but....fuck hacky sackers, find some footbaggers and none of them will be throwing some stupid lighter around like a 5th grader. And don't be suprised if those people you're playing with don't disappear all of the sudden, because most of the people that just wanna play consecutives and hang out around the circle will be long gone after at the most a year...

Actually at the grocery store here... They have Anti-Bacterial wipes were you get your shopping cart, To clean the handle if you like... Good idea.

on another note, im pretty sure that the third dirtiest/germiest place was in fact, the pool that i lifeguard at

my boss went on vacation for like 4 weeks and we (myself and the other lifeguards) were supposed to vacuum the pool like...twice a week at least. however, we neglected to do it a single time. my boss just got back so we had to vacuum the pool...the deep end (which is where everything in the pool winds up) had a thin layer of...basically shit (it was a combination of dirt, hair, and definitely some literal feces), and they were some hairballs in the far corner that were literally 6 inches in diameter. of course we keep the pool so chock full of chlorine and other chemicals that it pretty much cancels out the swamp in the deep end...but still.
well, now that this thread has been thoroughly hijacked...(and im sure someone is calling the department of health services on my ass),

If I need to spit while I'm in a circle, I usually turn 180* and walk a few steps away from said circle and spit as far away as possible, or find a quiet corner away from people and hoike(?sp) one up.

But not near a circle!

Saliva is good it keeps your mouth moiste, the reason people feel the need to spit is (in most cases), because they need water, so I just drink water whenever I feel the need to "Hoike" one up.

in most cases. haha ya i HAVE to spit. i learned that spiting out the yellow black tar from my lungs is better then just swallowing it an haveing to bring it back up again.

Then I would get dog piss germs in my mouth. But stuff like that is good for your immune system and probably explains why I don't get sick very often - probably the last week is the first time I've been sick in about 2 years or something.
