I just think it's silly to not post in your blog because of a lack of comments - Dave's blog gets lots of comments - more than many and lots of views - again more than many. I would have said it's one of the more popular blogs so I can't say I see his point at all.
Edit: Also I have never seen blogs as being about trying to get people to comment, but rather a chance to write about your game. Reading back on early posts from my blog I'm very glad I keep it because it's such a good track of my progress and what's going on in my life. I'm happy when people comment but if they stopped altogether it definitly wouldn't stop me from posting at all - I don't post in my blog just to get recognition for my abilities - in fact I don't post about a lot of stuff that I'm hitting because I feel uncomfortable about it. Of course everybody is different, I just disagree with Dave in this instance.

Nice jobOk, although i have stopped posting i am bored as shit so i will make some notes about random stuff on my mind.
- i have been shredding a lot recently. level of play, fairly high. alex strassman came down, got some stuff on film. its good. people will think its sick, but it took me a lot of tries to hit that stuff, so dont let video be all truth.
- i read that lon vs. vasek thread. my thoughts are varied. i have seen vasek play. i have seen the whole "every touch is a sick line" thing in real life. and really, its just to much. ive come to the conclusion that having vasek so far away from everyone else is probably bad for the sport. i mean, some people take the "shit, well, ill never be that good" attitude. having people that are in reach is much more motivating then people who are way above you. people think lon is close, ok, maybe. but thats style and run length. look at the 97 contact line, its like, half bops. i mean thats really sick and stuff, but im POSOTIVE if vasek tried he could hit that, like, he just goes harder so his drop chance is so much higher. if anyone is close in terms of technical ability it is jorden. jorden is like 70% of vasek i would say. maybe lon is 65. im not sure. but either way, i think having like 4 people all close together would be way better then one super person.
but at the end of the day i think "well, didnt everyone think ryan was inhuman?" (i didnt play back then). so, he was overtaken, so one day vasek will be too. its just a matter of time. i dont know who that person is. he could not even be playing yet. blah.
- today i played in my white shoes with walls. walls make pixie shuffle feel so much more rewarding and real. idk if ill keep them on for speed reasons, but like, idk, it just feels awesome hitting a phenoix that you know is so perfectly set. whatever.
- there is a lot of talk of like, the new wave of players that are sick. like someone said andrew grant for bap in his vid thread? andrew grant is sick, but is he bap? cuz there are a lot of people just as good as him. and that just seems liek too much bap. you know? like i feel like bap should be one person a year or something, not some club everyones in. but who am i? some kid who isnt even going to worlds. yea, i should talk.
- i was stitching a lot recently, but then i stopped. its more efficent to kick bags instead of make them.
- chocolate milk makes me feel sick after i drink tons
- it sucks brad nelson is hurt
- funtastiks should be really phat. i think i might just stick with my mastermind routine. im not going to make anything amazing in a month.
- i hope cheebs makes bap. speaking of whos making it, mikko juho chris and some random europe kid i dont know. speaking of random europe kids who the hell is piechu and how does he hit 7>6>6? id like to see some strings.
- its kinda weird that damon is gone. it sucks that footbag could like make someone so angry and shit and make them leave the community. and it sucks that jason crook gets some rep becuase of what damon says and he doesnt even post. whatever. and i dont beleive that shit about the videos being from warmups. he is sweating and has his shirt off. no one warms up like that.
- its funny how kids are so obsessed with big tricks and fearless. like, who cares about montage if you cant do 10 bops. idk, i feel like one day ill go to europe and all these kids will be doing 7's and dropping on the osis seal. is that a negative generality? yea probably. but its silly. i spent months on my basics to have my foundation, i didnt just try random shit. oh well, they will learn. interesting thoughts. It sucks that some guy told you the ending of Harry Potter. Just a couple of things - there are actually a number of videos of various players from Poland hitting strings and stuff - check the video section. They are quite good with their basics and their big moves in my opinion.
Also Damian Piechocki came 4th in the Euros sick 3 I believe - hitting Whirlwind>spinning pdx blender>food processor. How can he do it? I guess he just practices really hard.

dave, HUGE MEGA STICKY-ICKY PROPS ON 11 UNIQUE FEARLESS!!!! that stuff is insane! i'm really looking forward to seeing your footy that alex got on film. did he get that savage fearless run? i agree with you on the vasek vs. lon thread. lon is good, but it's a different kind of good. way more stylish than vasek, but not a techy. it's so hard to even compare these people any way, because of move selection and stuff. vasek, lon, jorden, i'm gonna add felix to that list because i have seen him playing recently and he's badass,. they all hit long runs, all bust big, but how do you really go about "ranking" them? it's so subjective...
the post vasek generation is crazy and super sick but there are reasons for it. most of the Post-Gen started at a younger age, in highschool, or around there and had alot more time to put towards thier games. plus the younger bodies bounce back from 6 hour session alot easier, so we can train alot longer and harder (but i can feel the irpe old age of 19 catching up to me
). it only makes sense that this generation is considered sick by the older gen.
about max' comment about bap coming to knock, we're tight buddies, so he's just being nice, but in all honnesty that's a long way off and i'm not even thinking about out. it's simply laughable. i even mentioned in the top 5 north american non bap members thread, that i'm not even in that group. there are alot of people around my level, and just as many who are better. it's just said because the video came out and erik made me look good. what every one seems to forget is that video isn't all truth. i think 3 is a good number to induct into Bap. 7 seemed like far too many last year, but again we must remember it is a private club which i am not a memeber of so my opinion means nothing.
i haven't read harry potter yet, i'm almost done the DaVinci Code. if you're at all interested in religion, check it out. Dan Brown says he can back up alot of what is said with historical documentation. cool.

Sorry for the hijack, actually I saw a documentary about this a while ago and while it's true that there is historical documentation for a lot of the DaVinci code - most of it is almost certainly untrue - ie. he used a lot of old myths and, I guess, historical untruths. I read a few of your lasts posts both due to you paying attention to my blog and also out of pure interest. The latest video of you was insane, no doubt that your pushing and one of the best playes in the nation, really. However, that is also why I am curious about your comments on Crook. I don't know if your sweating him or what, but from what I have read of Damon's comments, they are true in some senses. Jason is human being just like us and he has his on and off days. Have I shown all the video footage that I have of him? No, but is it extremely better then what I have also released? That would be another negative. I didn't see any post about Damon saying that Jay is only warming up but of course thats not true. He can definately hit some sick shit, that is what I wanted to get out, and I think that I have done just that.
I can tell you that Jay has never hit 11 fearless, nor has even a remotely close style to your own. But he can push to the point that your grabbing your head while shredding with him. I guess that you will have to play with him to really formulate an opinion but until that time I want to request something.
