i have huge respect for danny, but...

his "highest out of the coping" record is completely bunk. if you build a huge fuckiong drop in ramp and jump out of a helicopter in order to get the speed nescesary to clear the coping by 20 feet, i think there's a problem. it would be like if i said i hit triaging trifly, but i went to the moon so there was less gravity and more time to hit it. yeah i hit it, but is it completely legit? i think there are a large handful of skaters that could go just as high or higher given the same ramp danny broke the record on. he does have balls though, i'll give him that. there's no way you would catch me over a foot out of the coping ever for fear of crashing back down to earth. techinicaly i think his skating lacks, but fuck that guy goes big.

well.. no, its another stupid investment.. that will stupidly net them tons of money from stupid kids that think this stupid thing isn't stupid.

I'm gonna go buy DC shoes because danny way is an idiot that gets to waste money doing idiotic things.

Good money spent on DC's part to fund this and push skating. They also were gonna pay the city of Philly 1 million $ for 10 years to open up love park to skaters. and the city told em to shove it up their ass Love park needs to be re-opened.

ya, i heard about this awhile ago, i didnt think he was going to do it till like august. i sorta agree with you on that tom, i think it was basically a marketing scheme for DC and quicksilver to sell more merchandise, but i do give the dude props for doing it, that was quite a ballsy stunt.

I don't follow skateboarding too much beyond playing THPS

, but I think Rodney Mullen is the coolest. I like all his ground tricks-- caspers, primos, etc. That stuff just looks so much cooler to me than vert. Not totally on topic....
