Dave was saying that the practice room was supposed to be done after 2003 worlds in prague. So in short he was saying:

No one knows when it will be done.

Or maybe I am wrong?

What the fuck are you all talking about?

Flipsider is not down and it's never been down. Are you talking about the forum? I was under the impression the forum may have been taken down permanently. The rest of the site is all still up and easy to view. I send n00bs there all the time because it's such a good site with lots of information...

Ellis has mentioned that the site is going to be updated and that the new version will be a lot better and out soon (but has been delayed) but the old site hasn't been taken down.

I think that's what Pat was refering to.

I've been excited about this site since it was told to us almost a year ago. It's supposed to be awesome and by the looks of the preview thing Ellis has up, it will be insane! I hope it comes online soon, but I think Ellis is working hard on it and will get it up as soon as he can.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

It seems that this topic returns every couple months, and every time my hands are tied. Listen guys, I know it sucks that it's taking so long. In fact, it sucks far more for me than all of you put together, and that includes all the people who harass me about it by email and in person. I'll say it again, it's not up to me when v5 comes out, and actually it has been out of my hands for a very long time. My programmer and I started building v5 over a year ago- me on design and content, him on php development. My job was ready on time, but he is 8 months past deadline. I stay on him by email every month to see how things are progressing, but there's nothing I can really do besides that because he lives about 3,000 miles away. Please folks just leave it alone, and pretend you don't need me and my website- make use of what's currently available, at Flipsider and elsewhere.

Thanks,
Ellis Piltz

I guess the problem is that Flipsider - as a website - is one of the most visually exciting footbag sites to visit and refer others to.
You've always done a great job with every version of Flipsider you've had, Elli, and it's just that excitement is building to see what you'll produce next.

I'm sure we all don't mean to ride you back over it. I imagine it would be frustrating for you, more so than for us, but you know what the progress is at the moment. We have no idea.

Thanks for the update though, Elli. And keep workin' that magic.
Comment in the BCS blog if you feel the need to.
