Ok, I just turned 18 and my parents are giving me a month to get out of the house... :x

I have a job I work about 16 hours a day and it's real easy (I just file papers) but the pay was horrible $5.70... meh...

So now I have to start looking for jobs and stuff, so I am also going to do that...

But does anyone have any like self employed money making ideas so I could maybe start my own company of something or some kinda crap like that?

I know a lot of Adobe Photoshop, so I could do some graphic work and stuff... and i know HTML and such...

I don't know... can you throw some ideas at me? Any help would be appreciated because I would really hate to flip burgers... :(

If there isnt a lot in your area, silk screening? This could just be on the side thing though.

The resturant business isn't too bad... if you like it. Cooks and waiters can make a lot of money depending where you are at. I personally work at Ruby Tuesday (dunno if you heard of it).

you getting time and a half for the extra 8 hours a day?

you could ask some businesses around town if they'd like to set up a site for a small fee. Make banners, things like that... give them options and prices.I know I'd rather go to a clean business site than a cluttered up, trying to get everything in one page one...

if that doesn't work, try to look around for higher paying jobs. 6-8 at one place, 6-8 at another, and some time to eat, sleep, and be merry in between.

pardon if it doesn't make sense... a bit drunk... :oops:

You don't have to make a million your first year. Look for a place where you can start in an entry position and have room to move up. Look for a place that involves something you like (graphics?) if possible and pays decent and take what they give you, then later move on up.

You'll be better off moving out now. Start early on living life and being your own person.

Say...go to college! Take out loans, dorm there. You'll be out of the house, and you definitely won't be flipping burgers when u graduate.
