.It's funny. Something that really annoys me is when people tell me something I already know as if I didn't know it. I'm not sure why it annoys me - it's not like it's a particularly bad thing or anything. I got an email like that today and I was in the middle of writing a reply back basically saying "yeah thanks I know all that already" when I realised what a silly thing that would be. There is so much beaucracy in footbag. I don't think you realise
. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe not. I guess there are advantages and disadvantages.Anyway my crusade to see the freestyle rules updated is getting close to completion. Or at least the end is in sight. Drafts have been written for all the major events and we may be posting them publically (at footbag.org) in the near future
I'm expecting a bit of controversy even though we stuck to what rules are actually used (rather than making our own) but luckily we can ignore everybody who isn't an IFPA member since these rules are the IFPA rules. 
Oh I got an email from a friend who is probably leaving for good. That really sucks, I really hope he doesn't. I guess the problem comes from having too high expectations of the world, rather than accepting it for how it is. Anyway I respect his decision and I'll have to make sure to send him regular emails. It's sad anyway.
I have found a new kebab shop that is very nearby and actually sells good kebabs (slovakis!!). Previously in my area there was a pizza place (ok) and a greek place that had lots of crappy deep fried food, horrible slovakis and not much else (actually it has a good selection of drinks
). But a new Turkish (I think) take away place has just opened directly between those two shops - about 10 minutes walk from home - which is very friendly and makes good slovakis I'm pretty stoked on that. When I was in melbourne I lived 2 minutes walk from the best and cheepest kebab place I've known with really friendly owners, so it's nice to have something similar here (although no where near the standard or price

. I wrote out two shred 30s and some sick 3 combos that I'd like to try. The first shred 30 was ridiculously hard - so something to work on for worlds 2009 or something but I think I can definitly hit the other without too much trouble. Also the sick 3 combos I could definitly hit but getting them to be first attempt is the challenge. I want to hit my sick 3 combos like Vasek - ie. not hit combos that I might drop.
