You mean legovers and flying clipper/jester. The [xbd] is an add that is used in job notaion to show that a move takes place on the other side of the body. For example a clipper is a [xbd] inside stall also reffered to as clip[xbd][del].Emo wrote:Walkover I meant.
EDIT: For stepovers, I only got like one...![]()
Too busy trying to hit [XBD] > Jester...
Just to make sure you don't have them mixed up a legover is where you set the bag, circle it with the opposite leg, and land it on the toe of the leg you circled it with. A walkover is where you inside stall the bag, put that foot on the ground, and walk over it putting you in the clipper stance.
Soon enough you'll have all these names straight. Just checkout the stuff at http://www.footbag.org/freestyle and you'll understand adds, job notation, etc. in no time. I'm a noob too and that site taught me a lot in very little time.

Ya.
I can do a bunch. I know A LOT of people who could do a million of them because their ankles have no trouble bending on the ground.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Wouldn't consecutive Walkovers be Walkover>Set, Catch on Inside, Put On Ground, Walkover (Rpt.)
That's Walkover>Walkover (consecs), instead of Walkover>Reverse Walkover, which is not a way to do consecutive moves.

i can put all of my weight on my ankles. It feels as solid as naturally standing on the ground. I've done walkover>rev. walkover>rpt for a few minutes but quit do to boredom.
Sometimes for fun i'll put my foot on the ground with the bag like a walkover and just do alternating grabs in front of and behind my body with that free leg

I go:
Inside Delay > walkover > Inside Delay > Walkover...i guess its not consecutive walkovers, but if thats the case, is it possible to do consec walkovers? Is a walkover classified as a whole:
Inside > put foot on ground, walk over with other leg? Or is a walkover strictly "put foot on ground and walk over?" I don't know.

i don't do them much (once a month at most) but I do both of these styles. one that's fun is walkover>rev. walkover>hopover swirl>far legover to inside w/ a hop (as close to rev. hopover swirl as it gets)Bander87 wrote:Do you just keep your ankle on the ground and just go back and forth stepping over your leg? I could do that all day.
I think it would be better if after you step over it you pop the bag back up and do another inside.

On footbag.org, a walkover is described as such:Shredster wrote:Inside > put foot on ground, walk over with other leg? Or is a walkover strictly "put foot on ground and walk over?" I don't know.
Put an inside delay on the ground and step over it with the opposite leg.
There are both a [del] and [dex] to a walkover. If you don't do the full move, it's not consecutives. And thus you'd just be dexing over a rooted inside stall, and that's lame. Walkover>Rev. Walkover could be cool, but should not be how we count consecutives for walkovers.
