Worlds :(

Post by professor »

So is anyone else, who is not going to worlds, really sad that they can't. I've never been to a worlds or even a competition for that matter but just thinking about worlds makes me :( . Anyone else feel this way?

P.S. Although when I think of the videos that come out after worlds, I am :) .

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Yeah man, it gets this way every year on modified. Most of the top players and posters leave, and it just seems empty. And all of us get on footbagchat and complain together. I've been through it for 5 years now, so I'm starting to get the hang of it. Hopefully I'll make a Worlds soon though!

I could really freak out thinking about missing 2 big events (European Championship (already missed that one) and Worlds  )....I never saw more than 5 footbaggers at a time and I would really really like to go to such a big event and watch all those crazy shredders live and shred with other people than those I normally use to shred with...Learn new moves and have a great time but no I'm sitting at home and a huge pile of books is waiting to be read *yawn*...Besides all my fellow shredders are on vacation or have moved away recently (University begins for them)...Self-pity ad nauseam

I made it to worlds last year, and it was awesome. I'd love to make it every year, but I don't really have the money. I'm not only sad about missing worlds, but (playing) footbag in general. Stupid pregnancy! I miss playing sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad.

I've been to only one Worlds and I've never been sad about missing it year after year. I'll go to the occasional jam in neighboring states though. Generaly, I'm just not the traveling type. This does not mean I'm ruling out WV...
