Aww, I dunno them, but they should participate.. and to the guy who feels hes not on the same level .. let me say this..

I KNOW that I am not on the same level as Flipsider when it comes to video production. Elli is a flat out better editor than me, that being said, i still feel that I can win because of creativity, so my point is, don't worry about being on someones level, focus your energy on making your vision come to life

This is true fellas! Video Challenge is not about who knows some editing tricks or who has the best camera out there. We want to see something new, not just five minutes of hard core shred with a few editing tricks and nice music. Use your imagination on this one...use different techniques, think what footbag really is, do your own thing, surprise the jury...

One format is enough, you don´t have to post both.. I edited my previous post so hopefully it´s clear in the rules now also.

It seems that the Video challenge is getting quite interesting. I think this will be one of the best events in Worlds.

I am looking forward to seeing the entries in this contest. Sam and Eli's in particular, now that the rivalry has been built up.

I think Sam will win, only because I've been looking forward to Flipsider v5 now for a while and...

This is a brilliant idea! It is really good to encourage profession video editing because sooner or later people will start producing comercial shred videos that are sponsered etc and this is a good way to encourage that!

Will the clips be availible to download after the even Jere?

I'm not quite sure about the policy of publishing videos atleast by us organizers because there is the matter of copyrighted music. I think every maker of the video can publish his/her own film here on modified but it will not be official or anything. We have paid the royalties for copyright music for the whole tournament but I think it doesn't cover internet distribution.

I'm sure you will see the videos somehow anyway

I posted the top 4 results in General Footbag. There were 8 videos total, and most were very very good. Props to everybody who submitted something!

I wanted to say some words about the video challenge in general, so here goes.

There were eight contestants who were (random order):
Sebastian Duschesne "Play Footbag"
Ellis Piltz "GhettoBlitz" (not quite sure if this is the real name)
Sam Colclough "Freestyle Reality"
Ian Pritchard "Dylan Fry Special"
Jere Vainikka "Training Day"
Aaro Wichmann "Säkkijärven veljekset (Brothers of the Hacky lake)"
Tomas Tyrpekl "HipHak Kemp"
György (Sorry, don't remember his last name or the name of the video but he is a czech film school student
and had contacted the czech footbag association if they wanted to make a film with him,
it was shot on a 16mm camera and looked really nice.)

The judges were:
Mika Koistinen (FIN)
Uve Poom (EST)
Ken Somolinos (JPN)
Vojta Polak (CZE)

The judging principles can be read in the rules on this topic so I won't be writing them on this post.
The judges were asked to name only the best three because otherwise it would have been too hard for them
(we didn't have much time for the whole thing 'cause it was held in a bar).

Only four videos got votes in top three and these were:
1.Training Day
2.Säkkijärven veljekset
3.György's video
4.Play Footbag

All the videos were shown on a screen and it was fun, the crowd cheered and there were lots of people present.
Unfortunately I allready gave the contestants' videos back so I can't put them online but I really encourage every contestant to do so!

I hope this competition becomes a regular show in worlds. When people are trying their best we can also lift the level of footbag videos at the same time.
There is a lot of creativity among us, that was seen already this year.
Congratulations to all you video makers who submitted your work, you all rule!!
