9/06/05 0:30 I am doing the performance next week. I will train every day from now till then. My fitness is really poor - im not getting enough exercise. I must become fitter and be able to play longer amounts of footbag. I have decided on doing "Axel F" by Crazy frog as my song.
11/06/05 1:00 My session was going pretty unsatisfactorily - until i hit ripwalk back to back! I was doing drills and working on basics. Totally struggling with infinities. Towards the end of the session I just tried a few ripwalks. I hit ripwalk flipside and from that clipper I hit it normally. Very, very clean.

Also made a poem (dont laugh, its for english):
Frustration
Painful exhaustion runs through my legs
Sweat from mental and physical anguish runs down my face
Holding back embarrassing yells that would otherwise resonate through the gym
The bag's destiny the ground... unavoidable
Refuses to land on my feet
as if fleeing from a predator, it rolls away
With my consistant hands i imprison it within a clenched fist
and hurl it towards the gym floor

I feel like giving in...
retiring to my room...
giving up...
I feel pointless in trying to acheive it

I sit down and stretch my inflexible legs
contemplating my next moves
I stand consistently kick the bag with the side of my 1974 Rod Lavers
Then I catch the bag behind my leg, then alternate... once...twice... three times
the bag drops at ten
with the uttering of slight satisfaction I pick the lead filled bag up

I tense my body, from my legs, up, through my back
maintaining strong posture
I catch the bag on my foot
maintaining an intensly strong posture I hurl it up
the small, dense object hurls quickly up, crossed by my right leg
velocity changes as gravity counterracts my force, it begins to fall
faster and faster...
the bag fails to escape
I cross now with my left, catch with my right
my body sinks like elastic being stretched, the bag safely on my foot
Furiously the bag is hurled up again
now crossing with the left, then the right
now the left foot catches the precious object

I fling the bag into the air with an expression of intense joy
I grab the footbag and make an energetic cry of happiness
"Yes!"
'Ripwalk' twice consecutively - my goal - completed

My session concludes at that
I leave the gym clutching the soft bag
feeling motivation spread through my mind
enabling me to return in later evenings to that gym
continuing session after session of footbag

Good so I'm not the only one who wrote a poem in English class about footbag. . Yours is better. Mine was a haiku  .

Back to back ripwalks, man. Excellent. Keep the new stuff rollin' in.

July Holidays 7:30 While in Paris I met up with the French footbaggers and played a lot. Over 3 days a 2:30 session each night. I hit ripwalk almost 3 times in a row. I did 6 osis’s in a row. I played a lot better than normal. I also hit phoenix! It is amazing the effect other players have on you. I also got a Charles Dupey Bag on the last day.
20/7/05 0:40 Without getting to my condominium I dropped my bag at the entrance to the “Caribbean” and changed into school sports gear and had a fun shred. I consistently got 6 or 7 Butterflies in a row. Although not hitting DLO once in the session my DLOs were good. The technique and timing was excellent. It just didn’t land on my foot…

First attempt for butts I got 20!!! That’s like almost double the previous record. I hit ripwalk b2b twice… Those are the main good things about the session. I enjoyed it.

Hey Ollie, I just saw an awesome travel show about Singapore - looked very cool - it looks like a really fun place :)

Sorry to hear you had a bad session but I'm sure things will improve for you. The bad sessions make the good ones even better :)

17/8/05 0:30 Tonight I played pretty ordinarily… Managed 5 butterflies. Ripwalks on both sides (not same string) generally stringing was slightly better.

Something awesome happened today however. I checked my email and I got an email from someone interested in playing footbag. This person lives in Singapore too! Apparently looking for a footbag she chanced across my site and contacted me. I will hopefully play this weekend with her and Otto. Give them good training. The prescence of others will make me play well too!
