surprised by a bar/resturant?

Post by MegaFighter_X »

Ok... background on this real quick-like: I just got in touch with an old aquaintance (KILARSKI!) again tonight, and we talked for a bit, deciding we were hungry. Me, being the penniless bum I am right now, decided to go to Del Taco on credit... except that doesn't fly there...

We think, "Fuck... now where?" I come up with the Inn Zone. This place is a bar and resturant that used tobe open 24 hours. They had some of the best BBQ chicken fingers... However, since the kitchen was taken over by Smokin' Sam's, it now has a close time...

I guess the bartender there wanted to help us out and said there was a place at the other end of the shoping center that had an open kitchen. All right... We'll try it.

This brings me to The Coachman's Inn. Another Bar/Resturant. However, it's set up to look somewhat like a cabin. Full bar, good food, hospitality, and didn't check for my ID... :D

We've passed this place up hundred's of times by now, and this was the first time going in... and definitely won't be the last time. That leads me to this question: Have you ever gone to a place, expecting it to be a hole in the wall, only to find out that it's actually a really badass place? Share experiences, make comments, etc. plzkthx.
