Yeah, I'm pretty scary sometimes. Here's the view from Jeremy and Amelia's new place. Can't wait to see you both again.bigdirtyfoot wrote: Glad you found a place to stay, and staying at Moxie's sounds like it has been a good experience and not too scary, so I suppose that is good!

so many posters in my blog recently
I had a good session today, skooling stepping stuff and just pushing hard to hit some difficult combos. I worked up a good sweat. Anyway, nothing great to report, but I'll report highlights nonetheless:
-sidewalk>blizzard>dimwalk>repeat (a good drill- me like)
-blurry whirl>blur>legbeater (both sides, not repeated tho)
-4 ducking butterflies (i never try these)
stepping grifter (my new move for the day)
-flip atomic dog (atomic op. dlo- 2nd time, not too hard this time)
-lots of sumo skooling, hit it a few times on both sides and almost out of drifter on both sides, but on neither
I think thats it because i cant remember anything else

Shoring up a few loose ends:
1) A few days ago, I hit an alpine blurry whirl (blurry ducking whirl) for the first time. I was soo very happy, but somehow managed to forget to post about it.
2) Atomic dog is the name I use to refer to atomic op dlo, or "predator." I thik I first heard it spoken by one of the crew from San Diego four or five years ago and I liked it, so thats why i continue to use it.
3) I am going to try to hit two different 6>6 combos today, in a few minutes actually, so wish me luck!

Well this is post session. Funny, I didnt even try my 6>6 combos 1 time! I was all stoked about them pre-session but them didnt have the mtivation to hit them in my session- prolly b/c the exercse room was quite crowded with eccentric people doing their body fitness routines. Anyway, I did try some other random stuff, but no runs tonight-just wasn't in the mood to bust Clavens style.
Thanks for the luck henry-I'll definitely use that next time. Results for this session:
-furious guay (hard!)
-fury>pixie dod
-muted stepping butterfly swirl (my fav of the night)
-drifter rake>smear (fav combo of the night)
-swifter again
-symp whirling swirl>ps whirl easily
-4 the'd rages-can't seem to hit that move cleanly

Lots to report. In the past week, Ive had a session every day. Every session has yielded at least one new move or new combo, which is awesome
Today was no exception. I hit gravedigger>blur! Only a few weeks ago I learned how to step out of my torque (one side only so far), but today I one upped myself. GD> blur felt good.
Of note, as all of you blog readers know, there is a vid of me in the videos section- recent stuff from the last session I had. If you haven't watched it yet, feel free. There are some really cool combos in there.
Im packing up my apartment. We get the moving truck this coming Saturday and we leave on Sunday! Currently, the apartment is in shambles.
Lets see . . . today's session. Well, Ill be posting another vid, which contains todays highlights, fairly shortly (w/in a day or so ooooooor maybe not for about 10-15 days, depending on whether or not I can finish it quickly, before my cable internet service here is disconnected) so I don't want to spoil everything by telling you all what was hit. Then again, thats what a blog is for
i hit grifter>grifter for the second time. Grifter>pdx drifter on one side. Grifter>far symple swirl on one side. ps whirling swirl was off by an inch, rolling off my heel
I want that move soooooo badly- been trying to hit it for a couple of months now, on and off. And now that Ners has hit it . . . well, I need to hit it too! I hit barfly swirl again but its been a long time, several months Id say. It only took about 5 minutes of attempts, which is not too bad, considering i was gunna devote as much time as it took to hit it
I know I hit way more things, but now its been about 1.5 hrs since the session so i can't actually remember any more stuff. Oh well. Guess you'll have to wait for the video
