For some reason, other Asians can distinguish other Asian nationalities. Like my parents can tell the difference between a vietnamese from a Chinese or like a Japanese from a Korean. I can sometimes do this too...but it's weird...it's like an extra 6th sense or something

Generally different races look different - although it's hard to tell if you haven't been exposed to people of that race very much - that's why some people say that all Asians look the same - it's not because they do - just the person saying that doesn't know very many Asians.

If you think vice versa, in Japan when i go people from my old baseball club say to me:

"hey alex how is australia? people eating kangaross everyday? do you get to go to classes with koalas? do all australians look like kagaroos? they are all tall and fat!"

its probably irrelevant until the last sentence, but i just wanted to point out that there are so many stereotypes. just as much as people here saying to me " man do you get to eat sushi everyday?" JAPANESE PEOPLE HARDLY eat sushi, i can tell you this. they only eat it sometimes but i seriously have never known of a person who eats suchi regularly I have C-Fan to back this up

Sushi is MAD expensive in Japan. Then again, almost everything is. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Japanese people eat lots of Noodles there (Ramen - not the brand).

Basically, the difference between the Asian cultures is like the difference between the European Cultures. Comparing Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese would be like comparing German, French, English.

Anyways back on topic, im such an idiot, or maybe this guy is an idiot.
He calls me during school hours and i was very pissed off to see 2 missed calls. But oh well, i really hope i can get into contact with him soon though. Ill try tomorrow and ive asked my mum to keep my phone and answer it for the day. Anyways he is in SHanghai now.
