Ya know that shredmusic gmail account people are using to spread the smooth beat shredword? I dunno if you guys ever heard of it or used it yet, but this could organize it better, you can basically build a file system around gmail with it, its called Gmail drive.
That sounds like a great idea! Based on the 'contact info' for the email, I would think Jeremy O'Wheel started it, but I might be wrong. Either way, he should definately be a part of the decision-making, since he seems to have contributed a good deal to it, and is into that whole managerial thing (being a moderator, I mean).
If no one else wants to take a crack at it, though, I'd be willing to.
I set up the account but Max B had the original idea (or at least is the person I saw using gmail as a place for uploading music) and I think David W was also involved in the idea. It came about from a discussion at footbagchat I think.
Well it's one of the coolest things I've seen in the footbag community. I've only downloaded 2 songs at this point, but they both rock, and I can't wait to download more when I have the time. Thanks for the effort, Jeremy-- I hope it just keeps growing
Could the people posting to shredmusic post one song per mail?
I think it makes for easier reading.
Other ideas I've had: a better subject format such as
ARTIST / SONG TITLE
well, if you're not uploading from gmail drive. One more thing, we should add more labels to be able to tag music genres to the songs posted. That would help once we have a lot of songs on there, currently there are about 40.

that's ok - just for next time. A couple of things.
Whoever the person/people are who keep trying to change the password - give up and go get a life - you can't change the password because I get sent an email to verify the change and I won't. All you are achieving is getting me to think violent and nasty thoughts about you.
Secondly please don't upload footbag videos or anything else that isn't shred music to the account. I will probably delete anything that isn't shredmusic. There are plenty of other places where you can upload videos etc. You can even invite yourself to join gmail from shredmusic and then create a footbag video account if you really feel the need. Or you can help footbag and join the IFPA and upload as much as you like.
Regarding the programe at the start of this topic. I have a few questions and am too lazy to find the answers myself. Actually it's pretty much one question:
Would people need to download that program so that they can upload or download stuff to the gmail account or would it still be possible for people to randomly visit the account and get music without needing anything?
Bump. I don't think everyone knows about [email protected] anymore because no one has sent anything since 7/2/06. Sign in to download music from previous e-mails or to send music to the account so others can enjoy.
