shred today with david at our old high school. people wonder why we play there, and i guess its because its where we started playing. not that we've developed too much since then, due to extended breaks of over a year, lack of attention to footbag AT ALL, etc. but its good times. like today.

didn't hit much, kept dropping mirages. had a nice run of 9 or so tiltless, worked on clippers a little bit, tried hitting DLO again (twice so far). but my lavers will come soon and i hope that they will encourage me to play even more.

david had a few good runs.

oh and we played with his new bag, but it wasn't broken in at all, so we mainly kicked it around. i might start shopping for a bag soon, so if anyone sees this and has suggestions, they'd be most appreciated.

I would suggest a Vida bag, Pipenbag, or Footfighter for right now though.

kicked with david and our friend stephen tonight on some tennis courts. it was alright, we played around more than actually focusing...at least, i did. i worked on hitting huge symposium mirage's, which david labelled jesus christ superstars. plenty of christian mockery painfully ensued. david hit some pretty phat runs, his first fairy since before the surgery, and magellan>smear>paste, or smudge, or something like that. i didn't hit anything new really, worked on schooling toe stalls, inside kicks, and set a new same side clipper record, at a measley four.

then we got milkshakes at cookout and came back to my house to watch some of sick 03.

unrelated to footbag, i showed david and stephen Phish's "the Man who Stepped into Yesterday", which was trey's senior project at Goddard college i believe. 1986...maybe, i'm not sure...i'll consult the phish companion. so if you read this and have listened to phish but haven't heard this fantastic musical epic, please do so. i'll even burn you a copy and mail it to you, if you can't find it.

Body piercing saved my life.

Yeah I hit magellan>smear>paste, AND magellan>smear>smudge. I also liked guay>hopover>walkover>mirage.

You also completed a challenge that someone gave me, of 25 inside kicks. You'll get the 100 toe stalls soon, it's easier to do that stuff solo and really concentrate on it.

And we played the "how many words can you make out of 'FOOTBAG' game" that I read from Ken's blog. Then some random lady came up and told her about her good-for-nothing husband. That was really awkward.

That's really nice of you; I wonder if anyone will take you up on that offer?

went to chapel hill with friend today to go to the record store there. better than the one in raleigh. i move in 3 weeks from today. pretty exciting.

lavers came today! kicked by myself in the rain in celebration of their coming, went back to basics, and schooled TOE STALLS! hit a 108 stall challenge david gave me, then did a few more consecutive runs in the 90s. after that i felt alright with the toe stalls, so i'll cross them off my list. worked on just kicking after that

i'm kind of starting anew now, with my lavers. tomorrow i'll probably work on clippers, which i'm terrible flipside [even worse than my normal side]. suggestions?

shredded today with david david and gabe at old high school. we were kicked off the property by administration, which sucks, but we shouldn't have any trouble finding a better place to play. word.

hit a move off of clipper for the first time today, clipper set pickup i guess...not sure on the name or description and whatnot. otherwise i haven't been doing anything because the inside of my upper thigh hurts everytime i move my leg.

modified my lavers! will post pictures when they are done.

now im watching them dry, the tubes, while listening to radiohead on my laptop on the porch. its pretty nice outside.
