OH MY !!_@*#!(@*# !@(#$
... some things i thought while watching:
holy@#$
epic
@#$#$ amazing
oh my god
what the @#$$
and also wowowowow
Jere... you are SUCH an AMAZING video editor... I'm so ... APAULED AT HOW GOOD YOU ARE
what kind of background do you have? have u studied it or did you just pick it up and learn on your own?
the intro is @#$@#$ EPIC
the SHRED IS EPIC
the filming is EPIC
the ending is EPIC
ITS SO @#$@#$ EPIC
..
thanks for inspiring me
i have only 1 criticism/suggestion
the transitions between the intro and the shred
and between the shred and the ending SHOULD have been smoother
i say should instead of could just because the rest of the video was so utterly PERFECT
instead of having a quick fade aon the music and then blackness.. i think it would have been better to let the music slowly fade out and still be quietly playying with the next section JUMPS IN
but dude
from one video maker to another SUPER PROPS
just from watching the video one time I am already inspired to make better videos
HOLY @#$@#$@ THAT VIDEO WAS AMAZING
You are truely the first WORLD FOOTBAG VIDEO CHAMPION!
Props!

Thanks for the compliments Sam. You pointed out just the same problems that I think the video has. The problem was that we didn't have any storyboards or script, we just went filming on one day and the idea was just that this guy is running to his training place. We came up with the idea of that black suited man somewhere in 2am when we were shooting those night running scenes in the city. The pigeon shot was also improvised as we saw some pigeons on the street and I told Juho to run towards them (he doesn't have the lavers on that scene either). So those little faults could've been fixed with proper planning and more filming time (we filmed the video on one day and the editing took another, it was just the two of us filming). And the transitions with the three scenes are bad (or atleast the second one from shred to night), it would've been nice if there was a shot where Juho stops playing.. But I think the next video will fix these little problems and everything will be fluent.
I haven't studied in any film making schools so I've learned everything myself. Hopefully I'll get to a film school soon 'cause I'd really like to. I've made some really low budget movies with my friends but that's all the experience I have.
I forgot to thank Juho for making this film with me, it was really fun to shoot with him in 4am where he walks to the sunrise. We laughed a lot.

yeah I wasn't extremely sold on the story line but the editing, angles and shred was tight! Its hard to go wrong with led zepplin!
spinning drifter>pdx dlo>smoke>schmoe>pixie ss whirl>pdx torque>swirl>spinning osis>far swirl>mobius???? and this kid made bap?
those are the most beutiful riptides and ss reapers ever!!!
Doubling the shred in the sky was tight as well!

Yeah, the music transitions and the confusing "plot" were the only things that took away from THE PERFECT FOOTBAG FILM!!!!! That was seriously so freaking amazing!!!! The filming of the actual shred reminded me of Sam's Happy Birthday 4nier video. The lighting was UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!! Was that all natural? I don't understand what After Effects does, so I wouldn't notice if you'd used it on anything. I think lighting is one of the things that attracts me most to video. The blues and greens were so great and professional. The birds were awesome -- you've got some sweet birds!
I noticed the lack of Lavers in some clips, too, but it wasn't that noticeable, like I THOUGHT they could have been there, because it looked like he may have ben carrying something. Who knows. It was too cool to complain. I think the music transitions DID detract from the video, sadly, though. But seriously -- wow!
I can't wait for this event at next year's Worlds! (Ie: they better do this again every single year!!!!)
PS: Could you post all the other entries??
