Blitz n the Hood (Video Challenge loser)

Post by Flipsider »

I was saving it for Eutopia, but I'm not happy with my shred (will try to film a better session), so up on the forums it goes! Enjoy, and feel free to leave comments.

Blitz n the Hood (39 MB, 5 min) - be sure to turn up your speakers!

You will need QuickTime 7 to watch this.

EDIT: For those with problems playing the video with QuickTime 7, here is a version that should work with QT 6 or 7 without any issues.

Very cool video! There must have been some good entries for it to have been beaten out -- I really enjoyed the mix of shred, narrative, and comedy. Were there places for the video contest? If so what did it take? (not sure how all of that worked)

Awesome vid as always Ellis. I can't wait 'till I start hitting double pickups, so I can yell 'look at me! I'm Ellis Piltz!' at random passers by. I really liked the last two cuts to your lounging self - the muffled headphone music one and the tippy beer can one.

Big props to Kolo on the cartwheel, and the dude in the waterfall.

I gotta go find my path!

awesome video!! Thanks so much! We seem to be very lucky with videos at the moment - that was fantastic!!

Sam C is right - the first combo is the best - I yelled at the screen too and then watched it again. I read what Sam had written before seeing the vid and I thought he was exaggerating or it would be some hard beast like combo. Not what I was expecting at all but fucking awesome!!!

Props Ellis - that's a really great video!

I really enjoyed the video, and am a big fan of everything pogo!

special props for the first combo, that's the kind of stuff I wish I'd see in Sick3 combos. Have you tried hitting it pogo?

Oh man, props! I haven't seen this video yet but I know that it'll be great. Kolo is hilarious. Dudes in waterfalls are usually good too.

Ummmmm, I don't remember. In case I haven't, thanks for the idea. I have hit Blurry Ducking Foe, Blurry Ducking Osiris, and Blurry Ducking Flying Outside Stall (I guess it has no name), which are fun. The flying outside stall is the newest acquisition of the 3, just hit it yesterday. While I'm bragging , I also hit Blurry Ducking Far Symposium Swirling Gyro Inside Stall, which is probably the longest named move I have ever hit. But lately Yacine is the owner of Montreal. He is un-fucking-stoppable! You'll see, just you wait.
